HP printer and internet connection
I've been trying to connect my HP ENVY 4500 printer to my home internet. My printer says the IP is not connected. The printer recognizes my wireless network however when I try to put in the password and/or the IP address it does not accept either one. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same issue. Turned wireless direct off and used wireless but it still shows the printer can't connect

This worked for me on an HP ENVY4500, even though the guy on the video has a cannon printer. I followed the wireless setup wizard. This will work just pay attention to the video and take it slow.

You need to use email if you are outside your network.
You need to make sure to connect to Wi-Fi. Not wifi direct.

for most questions about TMOs home net and connections this forum https://community.t-mobile.com/tv-home-internet-7 usually has answers and or like questions.

My Hp printer keeps asking for the WPA from T-Mobile to type into printer - is there a WPA on this internet device - can’t find it and your helpline told me to cal Hp but they said it is a T-Mobile issue

Hopefully this is helpful to people with HP printers and connectivity issues. I learned from T-Mobile Tech that their internet doesn't support printers that use WPS or WiFi Direct which was exactly what my HP printer used which wouldn't connect to my Gateway. Printers must use WPA or WPA 2/3.
A guy at Staples told me that this seems to be primarily an HP printer issue. I traded my HP printer in (got a $30 credit), purchased an Epson and connected easily. I'm super low tech and don't have further information beyond what I've laid out here. Good luck.
