screwed up service t-mobile is nothing but lies and laziness

So long story here I’ll make it simple got screwed into switching from Verizon for the promise of great 5g service and all kinds of promotions got scammed out of that and I have a screen recording of where my iPhone 13 Pro Max has 2 bars 5g service and it’s non-existent most of the time and if I switch my phone to lte I get loads better service with one bar now t-mobile tell me why your service tech can only reset my network connection from their end instead of adding a tower and stealing money and time away from your customers but I’m only furious cause they switched me to them for the promise of paying off my old plane from Verizon but apparently that doesn’t exist two months down the road after not hearing back from anyone at T-Mobile anyways if my service cannot get fixing by march 2024 I’m switching back to Verizon happily and still willing to pay the the 2,000$ to pay to switch so fix your t mobile I’m so tired of dealing with you ohh and by the way I have the same screen recording showing that lte service is barley useful while your “5g coverage” is a load of !!!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

In Phoenix it's not that bad but everything is about location.

File a BBB complaint, and they may help you port.  At times, T-Mobile execs (through BBB) have offered to pay off (with return of device) for those that end up on T-Mobile's 'not-so-great' coverage/service.

I’ve sent pictures where its ‘No Service’ outdoors where T-Mobile maps as 4G LTE + 5G to T-Mobile and their execs claim ‘service is working as expected’ and ‘T-Mobile does not guarantee coverage anywhere’.

Sad part is that I can put a reversal on that … “I can guarantee ‘No Service’ in many places where T-Mobile states coverage”.

Totally screwed me too. I went to the highest rated T-mobile store in greater Albuquerque because my wife's Iphone had cracked. The battery had expanded and it was trash. We ended up buying a new phone never realizing this one was insured through Tmobile! On top of that the young man there said he could get us into a better plan for the same cost. We would even get another line for free! (we had 3 lines and I thought maybe my other son would like to get on with us) ALL LIES!!! Our monthly bill went from $150 to $200 ( actually $225 with the new phone we probably didn't need to buy since we were insured through T-mobile) . Also put it on auto pay to save $25 a month. It only saves $20. (without that the bill would have went up $70. We can't believe how bad they screwed us. We're seniors and I guess they know we are not as savvy as some. So the bill went up $50 a month with zero improvements. Today I took all the insurance off and that will help bring it down some. I plan on seeing what Verizon can do for us. Are they all scam artists? 18 years with T-mobile and this is what I get for my loyalty!

I also called the T-mobile store and the Manager hung up on me after telling their employee screwed me.

I called T-mobile’s main number and they said there was nothing they could do because I was in a grandfathered plan and couldn’t go back in

T-Mobile’s general customer service can’t do a whole lot, especially with grandfathered plans.

I went through this with AT&T when I was supposed to ‘save’ on family plans, but they ended up costing more, and couldn’t/wouldn’t revert.

You'll have to hit up 'executive response' level to deal with these things.  BBB will get you an executive response, where as 'Customer Care' will get you typically off shore support.

T-mobile signals are horrible in Carteret, NJ. Barely a single network bar appears on the phone. It's good enough to make a phone call but to browse any internet or to open T-Mobile app, shoprite app,  or any kind of app, it's a big failure. It's so frustrating when you have to look for public WiFi to connect with and knowing it's not safe but still have to just for the sake of it. This issue has been going on for such a long time. At home we have WiFi to rely on but outside the house, phone is good for nothing. There are times I see 2g or E on my network.
I went to the T-Mobile stores too many times and surprisingly inside the Carteret T-Mobile store, I get full 4 bars and 5G. Ofcourse something is must if installed like a signal booster. It's a shame how T-mobile is not doing anything about it. I have made numerous calls to the customer service and they told me to get a new SIM card since I am using Built in sim for my iPhones which was in correct. I have android, iPhone 7plus, SE, iPhone 12 Pro Max and 13 pro max. All of the phones face the same issues. My family/friends faces the same bad service. It's nothing but excuses from these money making companies. Just SELL SELL SELL AND DONT LOOK BACK.
