Why am i constantly having problems with tmobile internet?

I am growing tired of problems with packet loss, high latency, and the internet just shutting off. This has been happening only in the last 3 months; before that, it was great. No changes have been made on my end. Now I am seeing lower speeds across the board. Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. almost every day, the internet drops out (I am usually active during that time). Right now, I am using Verizon to even be able to send this.

 

Below are the last 24 hours. I was gone for most of that time, but as soon as I got home, there was no internet. Why am I paying for a service that only works half the time I need it?

 

  • I heard they are starting geofencing.  It's now affecting my phone. I'm about done with them myself.

    Tech never answers the phone ;(

  • Geofencing is limits put o your home internet to only use your home tower. So you won't be able to take it on trips and keep internet.  It's all about money. They will take it of with a 2go plan but it's more than double in price. I'm probably going to go with starlink. Yesterday it affected our phones for the first time. I am taking my home internet back this weekend.  I'm in East alabama.  

  • I have been on the phone in Ky with tech. There are major issues here due to their tower being damaged since May. They are trying to get the parts and someone to fix it. ( rural area) in the meantime, we have all the users from that tower on the one needed for here. Check in once a month now. No idea when it will be fixed. At best LTE, is what we have. My phone drops calls or I cannot answer them.
