will these mysterious towers ever be updated??
Looking for hope.

Trying to get answers. On paper and their "map" I'm in the perfect dark green coverage area. I'm sandwiched between 3 towers. Gorgeous. In reality only one works and it's the furthest and it's within the university. My signal comes from there. My home internet tower uses that. My cellular network while at home is non existent. Meaning I pay for a coverage plan but do not experience ANY of it. I miss calls, texts, emails. All of it. Home internet was sold as a way for me to boost this one sad, weak little signal. To no avail. The tower will auto restarts because the signal it so weak. Taking an eternity to get back on. Only to turn off again cause there's NO SIGNAL. I have spoken to many staff about this. Only one had information of any kind. Pulling up my residence she said same thing they all do " oh u live in a great spot!" She told me that people "have made a few reports and it looks like some towers are being updated". On her screen she showed me the gorgeous dark green map squares of prime location....and then the tower icons with ⚠️⚠️⚠️"service needed" icons on them. She literally showed me locations of towers near me that DO NOT WORK. She then said to try the home internet. So I did. That's what I'm forced to use now and it's a nightmare. I would compare this experience over last 7months to having dial up. Definitely. If anyone has experienced them actually "updating" one of these towers and it fixed everything I'd really really really like to hear about it because this is insanely depressing.

Since I can’t tell where your tower is .. I can’t say whether it would be upgraded soon or not.
I'd recommend placing a call to 611 (T-Mobile) then ask for 'Advanced Technical support team' to find out when the site will be upgraded. If its in the next ~3 months, they'll tell you. Of course, often they may have the wrong site and upgrade a different one 'assuming' that's the one you meant.

you'll have to give a general area… you could be in almost any state but Alaska.
