Amazon Fire Television
I ordered T-Mobile internet service, and was supposed to get an Amazon Fire TV. Not sure where to check the status?

I never got the promo code either. It's now expired on Amazon. Hours on the phone. No one knows anything. This has been a pretty miserable experience. FYI, the price of the TV with tax is $351. They credited my account, so it's a bummer that I didn't get the TV. But it's nice I get a month and a half for free.

At least you got something I still haven't received a credit or anything else other than a fake email address they gave me to escalate the issue. I signed up for paperless billing and they still send me a statement in the mail every billing cycle. This company is a joke and I bet they have been running these scams for a long time now. I'm thinking about putting a YouTube video together about the people they have scammed out of products they offered for promo signups and didn't follow through.

I like many others were approved for the tv "good news! Your submission has been approved. We will be sending your reward soon." Nope nothing. Called first time last week, was on the phone for over an hour, a code was sent to me that day but was expired. I was told it would be escalated and I would receive a call back in 48 hours. No call back. Called today and was on the phone for over an hour again. As soon as I mentioned fraud, the agent automatically offered $139 credit to which I laughed. While on hold I had messaged the T-mobile business chat on Facebook with the issues I had. Within 5 minutes I had a message and resolution, an account credit that was equal to the tv value. Why was I on the phone for over 2 hours between 8 different people when the online agent could offer a solution within minutes? While I didn't get the tv, I shouldn't have to pay my bill for a few months. It's a win but was way more hassle than it should have been. Do better T-mobile!

They only offered me a 50-dollar credit for the mistake they made. Like I said they scammed all of us and I believe the ones that got one or very lucky or just spam bots from T-Mobile. I'm just using the service as a backup since it's not very stable for streaming. I found out most streaming providers don't support T-Mobile service for IP location and IP changes. I just signed up for fiber internet at home and now I trying to decide if I should keep the T-Mobile scam service for anything other than a backup service.

I feel T-Mobile scammed all of us on this fire tv offer. I was never sent a promo code for this fire tv after filling out all the information. This is all I ever got from them listed below. My reward was never emailed to me, and they told me they can't do anything about it even though it was never sent to me in my email or spam folder. They can't even send me proof that the email was ever sent. I was told by many T-Mobile fans they will find a loophole to scam you out of the reward just to get people to sign up. I guess I need to start looking for a new provider for my needs and a company I can respect that stands behind their word.
Good news! Your submission has been approved. We will be sending your reward soon.

So I had the same experience as many others. Checked the website over and over and tried to be patient and not call. It said my reward was approved and it would be sent soon. Of course I never got anything. I called, which required many minutes to no resolution but told the issue would be escalated. Customer care called me back and told me a code to enter on Amazon. The code was expired. Again, the issue was escalated only to be told that I must have missed the email, too bad so sad, you only get one code and now it's expired, call Amazon and see if they will accept the code. I said yeah right there has to be a new code you can provide, this is a scam, yadda yadda. Called Amazon, of course that was a no go. Found this thread. Messaged T-Mobile on Facebook messenger. Immediately was offered at $250 account credit. I said wow, amazing, thank you, but is there anyway you can generate a new code... The fire TV is $329.99. They said thanks for bringing that to my attention, we will credit your account $330 instead. I SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE FOR NOTHING. Don't make my mistake. Of course, you're probably only going to read this because you've reached this point already. I ordered my Fire TV and I can't wait! So good luck!

Yep, total BS. I had the same issues. I have called 4 times over the last 4 months and been promised resolution. I have been a customer for 15 years. After talking to three different people today, they finally agreed to give me an account credit for the worth of the TV. At least it is a resolution, but I really wanted that TV.

I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO FILE A COMPLAINT AS WELL. ONE COMPLAINT WILL NOT TRIGGER AN INVESTIGATION, BUT SEVERAL...WILL DEFINITELY RAISE A FEW EYEBROWS. There is power in numbers.
Done! I’m fed up with being scammed like this
