is there a plug and play external antenna for Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway
The assigned cell tower is close about 1 mile, but not a good line of sight (trees, buildings etc.) Debating should I try extenders or mesh to use speeds I have which vary from 24 to 11 download and ...

I have no info on this, just recalled seeing it as I researched opinions on the 5688 here on the site and saw your note. If you have gotten something, let us know how it went?
An Arcadyan was issued to me when I signed up with TM last December. There were performance issues lately, and after some tests TM support authorized a gateway exchange. Received a Sagemcom Fast 5688W at the local store instead. For one thing, it has an on/off button which a plus. I'm getting signal "good" as before and speedtests are ~250 mbps, also comparable to previous readings. Tower's about 1.5 miles with a fairly clear shot.
