Consistent disconnects and low speeds
I’m no RF engineer, but at least a couple of those stats are awful.is
At 300 yards (I’m literally similar distance -1200’)
RSRQ is similar (doors closed) -7dB/-10dB closed -6/-10 door open)
RSSI (-94 / --84 closed/open)
RSRP ( -102/=103, -84/-99 closed / open)
There’s either something wrong with your modem, the antenna on the tower, or something is that tower hard
If I hit n71, SINR for me will drop to between and 10. I suspect that's because there are other n71 nearby. n41 should be hard to push a poor SINR at 300 yards.
Do you have T-Mobile cell service ? See what values you get from it.
Even with weak values with slider closed, I still hit +400Mbps with ‘good’ metrics.
While you can get good results at 1.7 miles, that RSRP tells me its closer. 1.7 miles would be a macro with a clear line of site, and antenna pointed at you. It is 'possible' on NSA to have 5g on a different tower than LTE, but the RSRP/RSRQ are quite similar and great values.
With cellmapper and NSA mode, you can see the ‘distance’ through timing advance on LTE.
