customer service lies
9 TopicsAnyone else experienced a PAID line being added to their account without your authorization, and then had issues with T-Mobile when trying to remove the added line and get a refund?
Upgraded and bought a new iPhone in a T-Mobile store on 04/22/2022 - I am unfortanely just now noticing after reviewing my yearly reports for tax season approaching, that there was a data line added to my services/bill on the same day, for an apple watch?! The charge was insignificant in cost enough for me to never notice too much of a difference, and the sales representative in the store explained to me the new bill amount and an increase being due to the monthly amount I would be charged for the iPhone payment plan option to pay month for a phone instead of paying in full. I am now trying to have the line removed but the customer service dept. has only tried to tell me I am wrong and that I activated this on my own MONTHS prior to 4/22/22, which is so far from true. I have only ever used my apple watch on wifi/connected to my phone via bluetooth. After reviewing my usuage overview for 2022, each month shows the additional line and every month has 0.00GB of data used. I found this information through my t-mobile account but yet the customer service reps I've spoken to (which has been several now) all seem incompentent and unable to find similar information to show that this change was unauthorized. In addition, the representatives only focus seems to be on conversion or a new sale, rather than doing actual customer service. What happens to customer service??? Anyone had similar experiences? What did you have to do to get T-Mobile to cooperate and help? Do I need to file claim with the Better Business Bureau you think? Anyone filed with the BBB before, and if so, did you have any good results from it? I just want a line removed and something credited to my account for the near year I have paid for a service I never signed up for or authorized, and it seems impossible.1.4KViews0likes10ComentariosHow do i get US based support?
T-Mobile support has become an absolute joke. Their slogan of "no jumping from agent to agent" is an outright lie. The overseas call center doesn't know how to use the tools, cannot understand simple English and incompetent is an understatement. Thereappears to be no one working in the US anymore and I cannot even get a straight answer on what my payoff is to transfer to another carrier.12KViews34likes46Comentarioslied to
Has anyone else been lied to by multiple T-Mobile representatives? I was told almost four months ago that unlimited home internet would be a maximum wait of two weeks … based on that and the combined price I signed up for the phone service. After several representatives told me multiple different things I was finally sent everything to get set up, after four days our internet came to basically a standstill.. upon calling I was informed that the high speed still wasn't available and at this point the "supervisor " had to admit that I had been lied to based on the chat log… still nothing could or would be done because NONE of the EXPERTS were under her and just so happens she also couldn't put me in contact with any of the supervisors that were in charge of these people… almost comical… I should have came here and searched "lied to" . Seems pretty common for these people to not tell the truth!408Visto1like3ComentariosT-Mobil is scamming leaving customers for “final bill”
I stayed with Tmobil for 25 months precisely. Made 25 payments. Ended my service with them on the last day of my billing cycle. Three days later my number was still not ported out so I called them again to ask why the number is not ported out. Thecustomer service representative told me that the member is ported out and we are even in terms of bill and if there is any bill for these three days then it would be paid from the 19 dollars phone credit that I am suppose to be getting from them in October. Instead I was sent a bill for whole month. They give me a lot of contradictory statements. Line the bill is for the previous month, then said that it was for a returned payments and much more. I have no previous bills and no return payments. I'm planning to contact BBB and Attorney General office. Also had contacted a law firm to file a claim and also see if they would be interested in bringing a class action.578Visto0likes4ComentariosComplaint of customer service with wrong information and yelling
I'm a T-mobile (sprint) good customer for 6 years. but I had a really worst customer service experience today 5/7/23. (Time : From 7:00pm to 9:30pm Pacific time) I upgraded my old phone to iphone 14 on 5/7.23. When I called Tmobil customer service, I asked about my monthly billing amount if it is changed or kept the same current billing amount when I paid the full amount for the Iphone 14. Customer service representative, Alma, didn't understand well about billing amount and I heard many people talking and giggling noise on the phone. So I asked her to transfer to the manager. The manager or supervisor's name was Polin (talking time 7:30pm to 9:30 5/7/23 almost 2hrs). She was really really bad and treated me as a greedy and selfish consumer. I asked the same question if I paid full amount of iphone 14, the current billing amount change? She said yes because government tax is updated and applied. She gave me the totally wrong information. So I didn't understand and asked for details. Based on her wrong information, It is just $3 difference from the current billing amount. but I wonder where this difference comes from. She just yelling me and answered me it is charged by the government, the tax was raised. She yelled at me that I can't do anything and you are so greedy. How customer service supervisor yell to the customer and gave the wrong information? The tax rate was raised ??? Nonsense. She doesn't know about the tax. She just told me that Sorry for yelling cuz she is pregnant (7 months) now and sensitive. Anyhow, I thought her answer was wrong so I asked again. Polin kept arguing with me over 2hours. It is crazy, I never had these horrible and worst customer service before. Arguing with customer for 2hrs? If she doesn't know exactly, then she transferred me to another supervisor or someone who knows the billing well. I heard a lot of noises like other kids sounds while I talked to her on the phone. I felt that she couldn't focus on my issue and just gave me the wrong information (government tax) and wanted to finish my questions asap. She is not qualified as a customer care even supervisor. She doesn't know what the customer service roles are. Customer service should answer and help the customer's questions and wonders. Not yelling and making a customer a greedy person. And I found that difference amount. It comes from the mistake of T-mobile when I changed one of our family member's phone numbers and withdraw the autopayment discount. I got the correction of that amount from T-mobile. Not from the ridiculous government tax raised.76Visto1like0ComentariosCliente
When did Tmobile allow their overseas customer service agents to be racist and call me names and get away with it?,while also charging me false data charges when attempting to maintain my line just for insurance while traveling, and then charging me 1 day of l data for $600 when they told me they would be cutting mydata off so I wouldn't be charged.61Visto0likes0ComentariosFrom S21Ultra to S22 to the a13 and finally S7 from Sprint
As you see, ive had a string of bad luck that rivals every superstition combined and had to resort to ancient tech by comparison. Im using my fathers old s7 from Sprint only even the T-Mobile reps at the store couldnt even help me. I got a new sim, the phone went from internet capable only with my A13's T-mobile sim, to phone call only with the fresh T-mobile sim. Then when i could receive calls and texts but not mobile data, outgoing calls failed. Texts were fine….ish. But now, I cannot receive most calls, and most calls take minutes to start ringing only to drop before i can get past automated phone menus. i cant even listen to a song on Amazon Music without significant skipping. To me all this screams "well duh," its an old phone by comparison. But its OEM unlocked, and i am trepidatious about rooting or flashing firmware as both Samsung and T-Mobile have failed miserably in customer relations neither honoring what rules about warranty and protection which can easily be bentin the name of customer service, and want me to pay to have it serviced….. A FREAKIN GALAXY S7. But i have a mental illness, I can screw up a video tutorial going step by step and this is my last line of communication before i no longer have my coping mechanisms to keep myself safe, i mean that literally as its a severe illness i deal with. Neither company is apparently interested in giving personal assistance to a loyal customer who knows that they absolutely should have honored warranties, or found some kind of solution due to extreme circcumstances. everyone has a sob story, but in that degression of devices, I only got the A13 becasue i was broken down in a parking lot, and police were about to tow my van, my home, promised i could go literally across the street to get a phone from the T-mobile store and in 20 minutes as i begrudgingly walked out with the lowest tier phone so i could call and get help i saw i was already being towed and away my van went. My s22 was broken when Igot jumped, beaten to hell, and they were unhappy i had no cash in my wallet. kicker is that multiple times T-Mobile said they would "Solve the problem", "...We can talk to Samsung on your behalf, dont worry." and my favorite, "we value your being a Magenta MAX customer." And before the end of the day i either leave T-Mobile and suck it up for a while and save (a literal POTENTIAL risk of my life) to get an appropriate phone. because im eligible for an upgrade, but T-mobile deals are seemingly great deals like 800 off with trade in, or $0 down with new line. But these are deals catering to anyone who is able to work for a living. The a13 for instance, give me an additional $4 credit so upgrading to an appropriate device is still $500 down payment. Thats roughly 43% of my Social security benefit each month. And truth is when you are trying to get and keep a van running by learning auto repair on the fly, and are under that hood sacraficing meals to keep your dog fed and create a suitable home for the both of you but making sure your dog never goes hungry…you begin wondering where the hell customer service went. because that vanished years ago and now its just a bunch of people who are so concerned with pacifying an angry customer with pleasantries and baseless if not false reassurance that im appalled by the script they are too concerned with rather that speaking as to humans one being a customer and the other working job. all that to say, both companies promised and failed to follow up and help me recover a crucial part of my life that keeps my mental health in check and have no regard even when i ask. But i guess AT&T might and thats my next stop on the computer im borrowing. but my wquestion is i need the flash my firmware, but dont know which version to get for fear of losing even this S&, a sm-g930p because the CSC, I dont see a SPR anywhere in it. I simply want the unlocked out of factory, direct from SAMSUNG firmware while i save for an appropriate phone. But suffice to say, im angry and AT&T isnt my only stop, I fully intend to present this with proof as an example of the state of things for consumers anywhere I can, especially those who go beyond poverty and destitute becomes more accurate.63Visto0likes0ComentariosBad Web Promotion
In September I tried to take advantage of the the IPhone promotion with trade no new line. I was able to order one of my daughters phone on 24 month financing but the other it had me pay in full which I did the screen still showed that I would receive the promotion. T-Mobile is say that they can't honor that because it was not set up on bill credits I told them the screen showed 800 promo credit. I was asked if I could reduplicate the problem so i did with my wife phone as I was going to upgrade it. The promo offer doesn't go away or even change the price if you pick pay in full. I was also told that research would be done to look into this from RJ-S and I never received a call back from Nov 2nd until present. Today I was told that the Back office or other managers don't exist and that the previous rep did not do anything. Here is the correspondence that showing that the research team does have it AlsoFreddy - 1247071 is the rudest supervisor and should not be one when I asked to speak to a manager he denied me and said that it ends here114Visto0likes2ComentariosT-Mobile is scammer!
I went to the store for upgrading my phone V+ and they gave me another V+. I used Chat for making sure what happen Danicamarie wrote me it was a promotion for me and now I have two phones in my line and one is free by the T-Mobile Promotion (scam). I wrote I do not want surprises but Danicamarie wrote I should not worry, this is a promotion and second phone will be totally free. My ex girlfriend bring her iPhone (she bought in Apple Store) and T-Mobile take like one month to complete her transfer phone number after many problems. My ex girlfriend she did not like T-Mobile and she transfered her phone number out of T-Mobile to another carrier. But T-Mobile actually created a third Revvl V+. I actually have two physically Revvl V+ phones with its own boxes but I have actually three Revvl V+ phones in T-Mobile system, three different IMEI, ID and one of those is the "promotion" (scam), another should be mine but another T-Mobile is using my ex girlfriend name and her phone number for creating an imaginary third Revvl V+. This means: I have two physical devices, one was a "promotion" but T-Mobile has three in system. I am charged for 2 phones, the "promotion" was not real and T-Mobile is using the identity of my ex girlfriend for charging two phones when I have two and one was "promo". Cramming, false advertising, use of identity and data of someone never had a Revvl V+, scamming, bad company practices. The actual customer service like always are using words as: "i am in your side", "apologizes for all inconvenience" but they are not solving. And the last "expert" Juanita with her Supervisor wrote me: "the promo was two years ago", I like the plans but T-Mobile is very disorganized with data and bills or they are just very dishonest company. T-Mobile act as a scammer company. They are a scammer by their behaves and practices.249Visto3likes0Comentarios
