Last thread is 4 years ago! What is the current answer to the question? Please respond without tech jargon so I can go about doing whatever I need to do as a Magenta+ customer to avoid all calling charges while overseas, and still be able to use data and text.5.7KViews0likes5ComentariosSim Card Activation when Abroad
I travel from the US to the UK frequently. Every single time i arrive, my Tmobile sim shows 'no service' and i have to call customer service 4 or 5 times to get it sorted out. Some of the customer service representatives tell me it is because of my plan or that i need to upgrade. Other customer service representatives go through the same 45 minutes of troubleshooting. I just have to persevere until i get that one person that can see the issue and 'turn something on' on their end and then everything works perfectly. I wish I took better notes on exactly how they fixed it because this time around I have called twice and no luck. Just the same old upgrades and trouble shooting pitch. Does anyone know what i can do? I have a very important meeting tomorrow that i was supposed to call into so i would really appreciate any help.1.4KViews0likes2ComentariosActivate new number without visiting a t-mobile store?
Hi, I live overseas and I use my prepaid T-Mobile sim card & number for when I come to work / visit the US. I have not been to the US in a few months now and it looks like my number has been deactivated. Is there any way I can get assigned a new number without having to go into a t-mobile store?Solved1.1KViews0likes2ComentariosUnlock after trade in
So I traded in a note 20 ultra for an S23 ultra, with a balance of 100 dollars left over to pay. They gave me a 50 dollar credit to my bill and then put the remaining balance as credit for 24 months.I asked whether I could unlock my phone once I pay off the 100 dollars I owe on the phone, as I would be out of the country for a year. I've been with T-Mobile for over four years now, and I have 3 other lines with them. I do not intend to switch phone companies but if push comes to shove I may. My problem is that T-Mobile is telling me that my service won't be available after 3 months out of country due to being labeled as an extreme roamer. My phone will only be able to be used with Wi-Fi essentially being nothing more than a brick. I have elderly people I need to call who are also on my plan. How can I use my phone overseas if T-Mobile cuts my service after three months, or rather refuses to unlock my phone so I can use a SIM card while in another country. I'm not even trying to pull some weird nonsense as I will still be paying for my line, which btw USED TO BE INCLUDED in my plan. I need my lines, but T-Mobile is refusing to budge in any way. They won't let me use my phone overseas, and they won't unlock. I may have to switch carriers which I really DONT WANT TO, but T-Mobile isn't giving me any other choice.Solved643Visto0likes5ComentariosiPhone to Android in Japan
I am currently living in Japan. We have continued using our TMobile service. I am having issues with my phone, so I am going to purchase a new phone. I will be switching from an iPhone to an android. I do not have a SIM card for the android (iPhones do not have a sim correct?). I cannot have anything shipped to my address out here from T-Mobile either. We have a PO Box. What do I do in this situation?? Finding unlocked iPhones out here is difficult which is why I'm making the switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!122Visto0likes1Comentariocoutomer service is terrible where is MY Region
