New Galaxy FE Watch does not pair with Wearable app
I just got a new Galaxy FE watch and it does not pair with the Wearable app on my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S9 - Android version 10.0 (meets the requirements). The wearable app on my phone cannot find my watch. My watch states that my phone must have the wearable app which it does. I have uninstalled, installed, uninstalled etc with no luck. Bluetooth on my phone DOES find the watch. However when I try to pair them, the wearable app then states, "Galaxy Watch FE not supported. Not supported for the current version of your phone software. Check for an update, then try again." However,my software IS up to date on my phone and has the minimumrequirements of Android 10 to be compatible with the watch. I tried contacting Samsung support and they were clueless. So now I am stuck with a watch that does nothing. Can anyone please help me?
Galaxy Watch Outbound Number
When away from my phone and calling out on my watch, the number the person I call sees is not my cell number but the watch line number. I am told by TMobile that the outbound calls will always use the watch line number. This seems ridiculous as now people will have two numbers for me. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Is there a work around?
Samsung Watch Ultra locking up. Help please?
My watch out of the box will completely lock up and become unresponsive. I will have to hit and hold the "home" button and it will restart. I cannot use tap, tilt, or a button press to wake it up it has to restart. This happens every 5 - 10 minutes with or without the AOD on. When it is unresponsive it also will not charge and it will still drain the battery so it is actually on.I've factory reset the watch twice and it still has the same problem. No apps installed besides the pre-installed ones, no extra watch faces either. It does it with the watch disconnected for the phone, too. And with the radios turned off as well.
Anyone else having problem activating galaxy watch 4 as standalone?
So I just got two LTE galaxy watch 4's to use when I don't want to carry my phone with me (while exercising). After spending two hours at a T-Mobile store and another hour on the phone with a technician, they escalate and another tech comes on and advises me that the galaxy watch 4 cannot be used as a standalone on t mobile. It can only be used when connected and near the phone its paired with! WHY would T-Mobile sell an LTE watch that can only be used when connected to the phone? That is called a Bluetooth watch! Very frustrated with them wasting 3 hours of my time, when this could have been mentioned when the watches were ordered. And even then, why sell LTE watches instead of Bluetooth watches? Has anyone one had this issue?Is the smartwatch promo (galaxy6 classic) available for the $10 non-international plan?
I was looking at getting a smartwatch but from what I could tell of the offered promos it's only available with the $15/m plan. As far as I can tell the only difference between the plans is international data which is utterly useless for me since I live nowhere near the borders and likely won't be traveling anytime soon (who even has the money for that). Is there any option to use the regular plan or some great feature with the $15/m plan that's not stated for some reason. Love to simplify things and just buy from the service I'm going to use it on but I can't see a reason to pay and extra $120 over 2 years for features I can't realistically even use.
