15 TopicsHome Internet, stuck on setup menu but it is working
My T-Mobile Home Internet is working, but I want to make a change. I use a PC and Ethernet connection. Whenever I go into the admin menu, I get the new setup menu and not the normal admin one with all the settings. I try to go through the setup, but it gets stuck at the point when I have to scan the QR on the device, it keeps failing. Then it wants me to do the Ethernet setup using the app on the phone. That doesn't even make sense, how can I connect my phone to an Ethernet port and how can I use the app on my PC when they don't make an app for the PC. (no one on their phone tech line even understands the basics of networking or telephony.) Once again, T-Mobile has be stuck. Steve60Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobile internet remote password Change
Setup T-mobile internet on my vacation home. When setting up I changed the password and connect my Nest Thermostat and ring doorbell to the T-Mobile internet. Things were great until the Hurricane. System went offline and required a reset. The reset worked, but reset the password back the the admin password and now my Nest and Ring cant connect. I tried connecting to the modem via the IP address, but multiple attempts do not connect. T-Mobile supports states that are not allowed to change password on my behalf. Do I have any options to change this password remotely. I am currently out of the state- HELP !55Visto0likes0ComentariosHow Can I Setup My T-Mobile ID for My Home Internet Account...???
I signed up for the Home Internet and got an email that I was activated on 04/01/21... A few days later the cylinder device arrived and connected to the internet easily. Nevertheless, I cannot register to get a T-Mobile ID for this account. I cannot login online OR use the T-Mobile app because it keeps stating they don't recognize my email. I've had two lengthy phone calls with support and visited a store (whom in turn called support)... As of now I STILL can't create a T-Mobile ID to manage my account. (This account was created using my Pre-paid phone account...) At first I thought it didn't matter that I couldn't access my account since the service is working so-so... But at the end of the first month my service was cut off as the person who initiated my account did not ensure that I was signed up for autopay. I never received an email about my bill. When I called about my service they wanted me to pay the $65 + restoration fee + plus a fee for making a payment manually over the phone...?!? It would have all been over $90... It should have only been $60... After admitting their fault they charged me $67 to continue with the service... I'm told I'm signed up for autopay, but we will see… I STILL CAN'T REGISTER FOR A T-MOBILE ID so that I can manage my account. I've been working with the store and they're having trouble getting the techs to resolve this problem as of... 06/02/2021... Internet quality is lacking... The speed is inconsistent; 5mbs - 25mbs... I can't visit some websites using the Home Internet device yet have no problems visiting the same sites/pages using my T-Mobile prepaid phone account as a hotspot. Reviewers should look into the issue as to why this ISP (T-Mobile Home Internet) cannot be used to access some websites. There are quite a few pages I cannot access, but yet I can access them using T-Mobile's prepaid phone account as a hotspot.16KViews7likes55ComentariosCan't setup new Galaxy S23 for eSim
I have a new Galaxy S23 FE from T-Mobile that I'm trying to set up. I'm following the eSim directions but after I connect to Wifi I get a message to "Connect to a mobile network," with options to "Transfer SIM from another device, Scan QR code, or Search for a mobile plan." My old SIM card is a different size, I don't see a QR code anywhere in my paperwork, and I've already got a mobile plan. It will not let me access the settings menu or dial #06# to get the eSim number. Thoughts or advice?66Visto0likes0ComentariosNeed help connecting Eero mesh with T-mobile internet
I've found many threads that discuss this, but none for those of us who are not tech savvy. 😉 Could anyone please IN PLAIN ENGLISH explain step by step how to set up T-mobile internet (trash can) with an eero mesh 2nd generation system? (Currently, two PCs in the home are connected via ethernet cords to the modem because our current wifi is terrible) I will be forever grateful for help! 🙏 I've spent hours researching this and am still lost...322Visto0likes0ComentariosI am thrilled!!
After years of dealing with AT&T, with their customer service reps who cannot speak English andtransfer your problem a dozen times with no resolve, their screwed up billing, their inability to transfer an account to a new address, their daily internet outages, their overcharging and general mayhem, I am thrilled to be with TMobile! I was able to set up my internet with NO human contact, the customer service rep with whom I changed my payment date spoke perfect English and the price is right and the connection perfect! Anyonewho has complaints should switch to AT&T for a year or so to see how good you have it now!51Visto0likes2ComentariosIssues getting account set up
Okay so -- I signed up for a single line t-mobile essentials account almost 2 months ago now. I then made a t-mobile.com account. The account told me to enter my mobile number to link it -- which I didn't have yet, so I waited for my bill to arrive. When it did, I attempted to link my number, I get the error: "The phone number xxx-xxx-xxxxis already registered to anotherT-MobileID. Please try another phone number or click here." The click here link just logs me out. I've contacted chat support, and they told me to contact phone support. I've contacted phone support as well, and was told that a ticket would have to be filed, and that I'd be called back. I never was. I can't setup my account online to manage and pay my bill or anything else after almost 2 months and I have no idea what to do, and I'm really frustrated. ¿Tienes alguna idea?Solved1.1KViews0likes4Comentarios5G Gateway testing
I am testing the tmobile 5g gateway. TMobile pushes the use of the tmobile app to setup the 5G Gateway, but the app does not work. The gateway is working but I cannot access it because the tmobile app does not sense the wifi connection and it keeps going back to the beginning of the setup process. ¿Tienes alguna idea?45Visto0likes0ComentariosUnlocked phones will work overseas?
I am on a family plan where internet is free in 215 countries. I see a lot of brand new 5G phones on Ebay that are either unlocked or on Simple Mobile or Mint or Metro mobile which all use Tmobile network. Does that mean they will work overseas my with Tmobile plan? What determines workability on overseas with Tmobile plan? Is it the Tmobile software on the phone that makes it work overseas? (Some of these phones dont have TMobile software) Or is it bands/frequency of the phone? I read on other topics that FCC ID is needed to determine if it works on Tmobile? Can someone help?279Visto0likes3Comentarios
