I'm using a Pixel2XL on T-Mobile and the native Visual Voicemail (built into the Google Phone app) will not activate. The VM tab does show, and I have the option checked in the menu settings for the Phone app. I continue to get the messages "Visual Voicemail Activating" and "Can't activate Visual Voicemail". I have VVM on my plan via the ONE Plus add-on. I have removed the T-Mobile VVM app as I know that it will deactivate the native VVM. I have reset network settings, restarted the phone, and spoken with both T-Mobile and Google. I have yet to be given a reason this is not working. (Note: brought the phone over from Verizon but it's unlocked - all other data and voice functionality is good)Solved17KViews0likes115ComentariosRegular voicemail notification not clearing after using visual voicemail
I have the same question that was asked in this thread, which was marked as "assumed resolved" but doesn't have answers. I have an LG G8. When I get a voicemail, I get two notifications: one is for visual voicemail and one is for regular voicemail. If I open the visual voicemail app and play the message, the notification for visual voicemail clears, but the notification for regular voicemail persists. I have tried syncing/refreshing the visual voicemail page, but the notification for regular voicemail persists. I have tried waiting, but the notification does not go away. The only way to get the notification for the regular voicemail to go away is to call in to the non-visual voicemail and listen to the message there as well. The phone does not permit me to block notification from the regular voicemail app or to disable the app. I prefer using visual voicemail to the call-in method. Any suggestions for how to get rid of the notification from the call-in voicemail app without listening to every message twice?Solved11KViews0likes16ComentariosVisual Voicemail won't Activate due to "Associated with another account"
Has anyone had the same problem that I'm having? I bought my brand new Tmobile branded Samsung Galaxy S20 plus direct from Samsung. I've never had this problem with any previous phones that I've had. Whenever I launch the visual voicemail app, it keeps on saying associated with different account. Want to set up and activate? Yes or No I click yes, then it activates. And shows that it's set up. But as soon as I either close the program or just close the app window by swiping the app page up to close it, and then I tap on the app icon to launch it again, it shows me the same window saying associated with different account and if I want to activate. (If I say no, then it just closes the window/program.) I've talked to Tmobile about this. The tech was very nice, even deleted my voicemail setup from their end to start it from scratch hoping it would clear up this error. I've also deleted, uninstalled, cleared cache, at least 4 times and rebooted...no changes...once I install, same window and error comes up. Anyone here have any suggestions what I should do? ¡Gracias!8.1KViews6likes16ComentariosEnhanced Caller ID not showing caller id or contact name on Visual Voicemail

I've had my phone for over 7 months now and every time I try to log into Visual Voicemail I get the following message "We have detected a new SIM card and are confirming your account status. Please check back soon". I have tried clearing my data/cache and it works once, then I get the same message again.3.6KViews0likes5ComentariosHow can I put the Visual Voice mail app on the home screen on my S22 Ultra ?
I have been using Samsung phone & T-Mobile for years. I recently got an S22 Ultra. I was surprised not to find the Visual Voice mail app anywhere in the application list (slide screen up from the bottom). Yet, doing a search for "visual" at the top finds a Visual Voice mail app with a green icon. However, the only two things that can be done with the search result is to open the app, or get the "app info" (long press). I would like to add the Visual Voice Mail app to my phone's home screen, as I have been doing for years. How can I do this on the S22 Ultra ?3.4KViews0likes8ComentariosDialing 1 to my voicemail suddenly asking for password?
As of this morning when I dial 1, instead of it telling me my voicemails it says "You have reached the voicemail system. If you have an account, press * then put in your 10 digit phone number." Its never been this way before. I called T Mobile support and the guy just said "my advice is this is more secure and this is what we prefer now after an update" This sounds like baloney because nobody I know has to do that and it happened SUDDENLY as of this morning. I check my voicemail like 30x per day, I AM NOT putting in my own phone number every type and going through all that.2.7KViews1like3ComentariosNo Visual Notification on VISUAL VOICEMAIL
I need a visual indicator on the T-Mobile Visual voicemail app that I have a voice message waiting for me. Currently, I have an extremely small icon in the upper left hand side; or I have to click on the Visual Voicemail icon to know if I have any messages. How can I get a Dot or a number telling me how many messages are waiting for me? Otherwise, I will miss a lot of voice messages. Ayuda.Solved2.4KViews0likes19Comentarios
