Re: Gateway device model KVD21 and T-Mobile Home Internet app
I have reset and started over too many times sometimes it'll go for close to 24 hours without shutting off but what seems really weird is this morning it was just fine then when I tried to go on to a website Craigslist it wouldn't load up and sure enough it shut down where it was not providing any internet so I restarted it came right back on been good for another hour now but you shouldn't have to keep resetting or restarting this is ridiculous I'm glad to see I'm not the only one out there is having problems with T-Mobile home 5G internet25Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Will using my own router resolve some issues with the T-mobile router?

I have to keep a fan blowing on my gateway all the time to keep it cool enough or it will shut down it will say it's connected with no internet soon as it cools clear down it'll reboot it if you push the restart button if not it won't reboot until it cools down also I have the Nokia brand gateway which is the round gray one I was told there's a better one the black square one I don't know if that's true or not7Visto1like0Comentariosin store customer service
How do I file a complaint against an employee at a T-Mobile store I called him and told him I just signed up for two phones they came in the mail and I don't know which SIM card goes in which phone could he check my account and tell me he said call 611 they would tell me I said are you serious I just told you I can't use two phones cuz they don't have SIM cards in them not activated yet and it goes well I'm not a phone technician I'm a salesman you need to stop yelling at me and I wasn't yelling at him I just talk loud anyways it's so then I called him later because my phone has USB c to USB c but my wife's phone is older and needs the USB-c to the micro USB cord to be able to transfer data he should have never heard of anything like that transferring data that way I told him I said I just did mine that way it came with the cord I wanted to know if you know where I can get the other cord anyway so I went in there and asked if I could talk to his manager and he said there's no manager on site here right now and I said well you're pussy for accusing me of yelling at you he went and told the manager who was in a room off to the side90Visto0likes3ComentariosRe: Home Internet - Frequent Disconnects - Possible Fix
So we decided to get to T-Mobile phone lines instead of Metro well I was on the phone with the agent setting up the phones I found out that the gateway round Gray device made by Nokia is an old and cheaper model than the newer ones that is black and square he told me that they had issues with the gray one and I should contact technical support and get a different device again get the newer model4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Home Internet - Frequent Disconnects - Possible Fix

The disconnect would require a reboot to get the internet working again. I'm hoping that others having this issue would be willing to give this a try and see if it helps with their issue as well. A Fan! I believe that my issue is that my gateway is overheating. After placing a fan blowing directly on it this morning, I haven't had a single issue with connectivity all day. If you're having this same problem, please trying cooling off your gateway and report back whether your issues have gone away or stayed the same. I hope this finds everyone with this problem and will lead to a proper fix. HHaving same issue thought it might have been because we're in a mobile home so I took it outside and rebooted it it didn't matter so I brought it inside after reading some reports on this forum and set it down over top of my air conditioner vent after it cooled down I started it up and it was fine so I've had it in front of a fan until I shut off a couple of times in the last few days4Visto0likes0Comentarios
