Cheated out of phone trade in value
I'm a prior long time sprint customer. T-mobile bought them out and upgraded to 5G. My wife's samsung 7S edge would not work on 5G and my iphone 6 was getting old enough that I could no longer upgrade apps, so we decided to both upgrade. We decided on the samsung S21 5G for each of us. We were promised $400 each credit on trade-in. Got our phones and sent the old ones in still in their otter boxes. Got a text from them that they were received damaged and we would not receive credit. What a bunch of BS! Clearly lying and never intended to give us credit. CHEATERS! I have seen lots of similar stories on here and I think they are asking for a class action lawsuit. Anyone else with me? BTW never got my phone back.

Samething happened to me today on 4/12/22.I was on Sprint for years over 15 to be exact and was eligible on 3 different lines for upgrades with an $800 credit for each 3 lines. So I was told over the phone on Sprint that I could get the same deal instore, online or over the phone. So today I went instore to get the $800 credit towards an S22 Ultra which I was told was in stock prior to me getting there.I simply told them 1 of the 3 lines I had put in a request to close out.So store moves me over from Sprint to TMobile then told me if I wanted to get the $800 credits I'd have to keep the 3rd line on other then that they could only give me a $400 credit towards upgrade.I told them to reverse me back to Sprint and now they're saying that can not be done. I'm so disappointed with the whole process I'm thinking about eliminating another one of my phone lines or possibly going to another carrier all together. All of my phones are paid off so it would be nothing for me to leave.1 of the only reasons I was upgrading from my Note 8 Plus because it was basically out of Network and Sprint/TMobile is basically forcing customers to upgrade yes a force upgrade not an optional upgrade with the 5G crap.I may have to consider another carrier. I'm coming into Tmobile already unhappy and like the other person on here stated that was cheated out their trade in value upgrade Im with them as well when they said they could see class action lawsuit. If you're on Sprint which is better service do not fall for the merge over to tmobile stay put on Sprint until Sprint moves you so you wont loose your Sprint incentives which are way better.Hpw the hell Tmobile going to own Sprint but wint honor the Sprint incentives? My incentives from Sprint should have bern grandfathered to Tmobile SMDH

you should insist they return your old phones or give you the value you were promised. did you by chance take pictures of your phones before sending them in? also have them send you proof of the damaged phones.

The same thing happened to me. I am pursuing legal arbitration for this matter, and suggest that everyone do the same. It is obviously a major issue involving many different accounts.

Same thing here, 400.00 credit for three phones or 1200.00. Turned in phones on 10/03/22. Have UPS tracking info saying they dropped off on doc in Texas. No credit applied, accounted was migrated to TMobile in Dec. 22. TMobile says not our problem, Sprint says they received phones but only applied 75.00 total, just total absolute BS. Not sure about recourse but if anyone knows an avenue for recourse, let me know.

I was told I will get a $400 credit if I trade in my iPhone 11 to 14 in January 2023. They sent me the package to return the phone. The trade in credit was never applied. I called few times. Now they are refusing to send my phone back.
I have been with the Sprint/ T-Mobile for 3 years. I was completely cheated by both companies.
