Discount Revoked!!

So I was shopping for a new carrier months ago. T-Mobile told me that I qualified for the first responders plan so I signed up. I had my state uniform on from work. Few months later my bill goes up, over $100 more. I look into it and find that the discount has been removed, they told me I need to go in and verify. So I go in to verify and my job is not listed on T-Mobile as first responder!! I call customer support, She tells maybe my company will sign up soon, to check back in a few months. 馃槼馃槓馃槨馃が. So I say the only reason I agreed to join was because of the deal the Store Associate told me I could get. She advised that I could switch to a lower plan......SMH!!!!馃が

 

I'm kinda stuck because I have 5 lines there's promo deals with the phones, u Kno. I really don't want to have to go through the hassle of switching companies but at the same time I refuse to keep paying $100 more for wrong information that they told me.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions??

    Thx.  But it's not even that.  The associate mislead me..鈥 can't verify because my job is not listed, even tho I am a 1st responder with the state Department of Transportation.

     

  • Go back in store and have them apply the correct plan with first responders discount. While you are still in the store log in to the Tmobile app and verify your status check with the associate and make sure you did it correctly
