Fuzzy Math Involving Trade In Phone Credits & Mysterious 3rd Party "The Signal"

Fuzzy Math Involving Trade-In

I gave "The Signal" (3rd Party purchaser in contract look it up) my trade in iphone 12 to receive $800 Credit Towards iphone 13 with price of $800. So we are suckered into being told "The Signal" provide the credit on behalf of T-Mobile in 30 Month Installment Plan @ $26.67/Month.

So this is the reality… "The Signal" has received $800 in trade in value for my iphone 12 making me -$800. I also have to pay $26.67/month EIP for 30 months making me -$800. So I am at a loss of -$1600. However I receive a iphone 13 valued at $800 which I receive a $26.67 credit  for 30 months.

Therefore REALITY says I no longer have my old iphone 12 which is a $800 CREDIT LOSS.  I am paying $26.67/month for 30 months on new iphone 13 = $800 FRN LOSS. While a $26.67/month credit is being applied to my bill for 30 months = $800 CREDIT WIN.

T-MOBILE STOP LYING TO ME SAYING MY CREDIT IS BALANCING OUT MY PAYMENT EVERY MONTH FOR $0.00 THATS A LIE.

The Signal has my old phone valued @ $800

Im paying $26.67/month to T-Mobiel = $800 after 30 months

Where is my $26.67/month credit going = $800 after 30 months? Ta Da T-Mobile receives it.

So T-MOBILE GETS PAID 2X/MONTH BY ME TRADING IN MY PAID OFF IPHONE 12. They receive the $26.67 credit monthly along with my $26.67 monthly payment. THEY ARE STRAIGHT DOUBLE DIPPING! THEN WANNA LIE TO ME ON THE PHONE AND TELL ME IM WRONG! BECAUSE THE $26.67 MONTHLY CREDIT RECIPIENT IS TMOBILE NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT. WHILE MY BANK ACCOUNT IS ALSO SENDING $26.67/MONTH TO RECIPIENT T-MOBILE.

IM NEVER TRADING IN AGAIN…. WHO THE HELL IS THE 3RD PARTY COMPANY "THE SIGNAL" THEY BANKING TOO...

This is basically a user to user forum with some tmobile moderation that don't have account access so if you use social media like Facebook or Twitter use messenger on their page to contact Tmobile support. The support is tier 2 so they can explain this "math".

BTW after being a user on this forum, I'll never trade in a phone seeing all the complaints I've seen.
