T-mobile is BLOCKING me from ordering directly on Samsung.com
I'm trying to take advantage of the pre-order special for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra directly from Samsung.com because their offer is better than T-mobile. Samsung.com is offering the same promotion as T-mobile + a free Samsung Galaxy 5 watch and $37.55 off my total (thanks to my employer perks discount). Which brings me to a total of ~$27 a month for 24mo installment plan with a trade in of my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G.
T-mobile I would have to pay ~$31 and that will not include a Samsung Galaxy 5 watch.
So purchasing directly with Samsung.com is a no Brainer. However, it turns out I can't because I am a loyal customer of almost 22 years and I am on a legacy agreement called the MCSA which is blocking my T-mobile PIN on the Samsung website. Specifically this error message:
"You've tried to login with an account type which is not supported on Samsung.com"
The only solution to this is for them to switch my account to a "regular" account but in doing so I will lose any and all promotions and discounts that I have on my account which includes a free line credit that I took advantage of 3 years ago.
How is this fair? And any thoughts or suggestions? This promo ends tonight :(

There's been other posts like yours try going to the search bar and type in Samsung to see if they had their issues fixed.

What are you on about? This is just happening with Samsung.com because something to do with the MCSA. The promotion I signed up for 3 years ago was long after the MCSA ceased to exist and it was avaialble to everyone including you. I don't have any special promotions that you or anybody couldn't sign up for. Only difference is my rate plan which anyways is not going to change and that's because I've been with them for 22 years - what's not fair about that? I gave them my loyalty so why shouldn't I pay a lower price than you.

Yes as long as you stay they will never force you off them plan. Taking a promotion is you agreeing to switch off the plan. You can't have it both ways. IF you want it both ways to be fair then EVERYONE should be able to get the plan you have and take advantage of promotions.
Your rate plan changes… You may pay the same but you may more or else get more than you did before before switching plans.The free line is specific to certain plans, and not future plans. They are not going to keep promotional codes for future plans to accommodate legacy promotions. Banks don't even do this.

My guess you are on a legacy plan. If you are not on the Magenta Max plan you can't get the promotion either from Samsung or T-Mobile. If you remove the other promotion you can take the current watch promotion.
It's fair for everyone. You've saved various amounts of money taking advantage of promotions not offered which probably paid more than enough for a few devices are two others couldn't take advantage of… OF course I will be called a shill for pointing this out. Now if you want to get them to give me the promotions you have and also get the promotion currently going on then we both can be "fair"
