Forgot to erase phone before returning it
Hola All,
If someone can please reassure me or tell me how this process works, please do!!
I returned my broken phone after receiving a new one from assurant. BUT, I forgot to erase the phone before I returned it. It still had my passcode on it and I was signed into my Apple ID, and I had it set up to where as soon as it was connected to the internet it would erase automatically. I never received an email from Apple saying the phone was erased or anything. I just want to know if when they receive phones that are broken, do they erase all data on it even if you forgot to? Someone please let me know!

I am not too familiar with Apple but I believe you should be able to remotely wipe it and remove the device from being associated with y our Apple ID from within your Apple account.

You can only do that when the phone is connected to the internet unfortunately. I've already did the procedure I just don't know if it was deleted yet
