I signed up to receive a free IPhone 13, but T-Mobile scammed me.

I signed up for an offer for new line that would include a free Iphone 13 with a 24 month commitment. Then I realized I am being charged an extra fee for the phone on my monthly statement. The last T-Mobile customer service attendant that assisted me told me I was not eligible for the free Iphone 13 because I ported in a number from Google Fi.  I never read ANYWHERE that if I transfered a number from Google Fi, there would be no eligibility for a free phone, where are the rules written anyways?? This order was placed online and the offer was accepted by the online system.

I also chatted with an assitant online that assured that this mistake would be fixed by the second billing statement. I need to know who I should believe, because I am getting conflicting information from two different assistants.  Below are screen shots I took of the conversation I had with the attendant that assited me online:

  • In somewhat of the same boat as you. I just activated and joined t-mobile 2 days ago and logged into the account to see the promotion being applied to the phone is not correct. I will be chasing reps down. I called a rep today and they kept selling me more iphones.

In your case they are saying the promo applied to your account is ID230022 but it should be ID230248

    Consulta: https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/promotional-offer-details

Gonna use Twitter/FB to talk to t-mobile to get this resolved.
