data use from cell and home internet

When calculating monthly data usage before you may get slower speeds (50gb+), is the data used on my cell separate from the data used on home internet?

When I review data used on the T Mobile app, it has home internet and cell data usage calculated together.

So if home internet and cell data usage combined hits the 50gb mark, will I potentially have slower internet speeds?

Or are the two separately calculated?
