Signal strength and buffering

Our service at first was amazing. Strong signal and no buffering. This was a great improvement over our previous provider. Could not have been happier. I live in Belmont, MI on the north edge of Grand Rapids. I was told that we were within 4 miles of a tower so not to worry about a strong signal. Now our service buffers worse than our previous provider. On the T-Mobile Internet app our service is consistently in the WEAK category just one click ahead of POOR. I was told that I am connected to a tower elsewhere in the state. Others told me that my joys of great service would be short lived. True story!! What can I do short of quitting the service?

I'd recommend checking the stats on your gateway as well as which frequency bands are in use.   Just as a note, my service too a little hit when the tree leaves came out.
