Internet Drops Every Night

For the last few weeks my T-Mobile Home Internet drops for a couple seconds. It always happens at 8:13 PM MST and it happens every night. How do I fix this?

  • Luck you people. My internet drops every night and does not come back until real late. During that time, I cannot do anything. My best download speeds are 2mbps and uploads are nonexistent, 0.7mbps at best. But, if I wait until around midnight, I am back to 20-25mbps down (50mbps as they advertise, does not exist in my world) but up never gets over 1.1mbps.

After an hour on the phone with support, nothing improved. We added a new network at 2.5 GHz instead of "auto", because that will fix my internet speeds how? Then we reset the device to factory, again, how will that fix my internet? Of course, after all that, dial up speeds at best. I had Verizon but the ex-wife took it when she moved out. Now, per Verizon, there is not enough open spots so I cannot get them (do not get me started on why I will never go with Comcrap). We never had an issue with them plus the modem is 100 times better. More advanced. I could set a static IP for my security cameras. Cannot do that with T-Mobile. Both use the same towers out here. How is it that Verizon was always working with sometimes as much as 9 devices running and 2-4 of them were streaming TV/movies?

  • Typical, push out an update without even bothering to fully test it. Thanks for the info

  • most likely caused by the recent firmware update 1.03.19 - this update seems to have ‘bricked’ a number of machines due to it’s high instability. many people have contacted support already to no avail and they are supposedly working on it. don’t know why they couldn’t work on this BEFORE release it but what the heck do I know huh

  • Every dang night for me, like right now it dropped and I did a speed test when came back up and I’m at 0.56 mbps not even 1, and the dang tower is down my street  be like that for rest of the night it really sucks

  • Mine does the same thing and I've only had it for about a week. It's infuriating because the speed is so nice but the frequent drops make the service almost unusable.

Hi, I also have a similar issue. Mine drops for a second or 2 multiple times per day. On my work computer as well as all of my regular devices (phone, tablet, TV). Anyone have any ideas? Is there a better router that doesn't drop?
