46 TopicsNetwork Unlock Question
Paid off the lastpymton all my equipmentin acct, so I unlocked my phone via settings. I'm confused with a message that keeps on popping up on my screen on my cell, and my tablet now states that my unlock has expired? Below is the pop up message: Your phone's network unlock will expire in 1 days. SIM cards from other service providers will no longer work. Can anyone help me out please. I thought once paid up you own all equipment, hence unlocked with no expiration ... better off when trading in, etc. Thanks ...Solved898Visto0likes13Comentariosdata is active, but slow as all hell
I use an android phone and For the past 2 to 3 days, my data has been so slow that I can't access downloads on certain apps. I don't what it is, but its getting annoying. Usually, I would just chalk it up to t mobile tower troubles. However, I've had a history of my data coverage being so trashy. And it's because of one thing that still don't freaking understand and that: the carrier hub application. Someone explain to what the hell it does and why does my service always get worse when is have to mess for an update or permission or whatever. I've been dealing with this carrier hub bull crap for a few good years using t mobile and it still gets on my nerves.54Visto0likes0ComentariosAccount Security Concern — 355+ Open Ports Scanning “T-Mobile.com” — Severe Third-Party Control
My family and I have undergone a serious security breach from account opening in September 2023 to present. I have taken to network security websites and tools to try to determine the cause of the problem that is keeping persistentconnection from a third-party on my mobile lines Recently I did a Port Scan for the domain "T-Mobile.com" and found that there is at least355 open ports(and 10's of thousands of identified, closed, or blocked ports). This is very much out of the norm for any other domain I scan (having only 3-5 open ports). I am seeing Port 11 (sysstat - active users), 9040, 9050 and 9051 open for tor transport, 12345 and 12346 for backdoor Trojans onto ourdevices, amongmany other seriously concerning ports Threat actors have enabled third-party licensure and tools for our accounts which forbid security and privacy. Every bill's text and call log activity is 90% unrecognizable activity. It is strongly believed my phone lines andall activity on them are being shared. When I go into the store, the IMEI numbers showing are not the ones belonging to my devices. There is also an unremovable "managed network" under settings and then Wi-Fi and then saved networks that has always been there and is there when I put my eSIMs or physical SIM cards on any device and goes away when I turn the eSIM off or take the card out. The account is sole-owner, and no credentials have been given out to anyone, ever It also sounds like, from what I heard in store, simply closing the account and creating a fresh one is not an easy process. We have changed numbers and transferred phone service providers two times already and I do not want to do it again if I don't have to. The crime has survived for almost two years now, and I believe my information and my family's information was leaked How do I stop this?I don't know how to close ports or reassign the IP address designated to t-mobile.com. I'm really not sure what to do, but would really appreciate the help Thanks!84Visto0likes1ComentarioTMO-G4AR SIP Issues
Unable to make calls with VoIP phone. The phone will register/show online but SIP invites are not reaching our server to negotiate/start a call. So, registration traffic will hit our servers and the phone will register, but phone cannot make calls. Unable to get a packet capture from the T-Mobile device to troubleshoot if it's making it to the WAN side.36Visto0likes0ComentariosGood signal/bars but no network connection many times daily
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. ¿Tienes alguna idea?88KViews22likes79ComentariosNetwork Connection
On the app and network box it says all the devices are connected with excellent connection but my tv constantly says not connected and I have to unplug and restart it every time I turn it back on because it says not connected and doesn’t find a connection until I unplug it and turn it back on.I thought it was a problem with my tv and after getting a new tv months later this issue has started back up and happens with several of the TVs in my house so I know it’s not a tv problem anymore why is this occurring and what can stop it from keep happening?48Visto0likes0ComentariosTime Zone resets when phone turns off, resets or updates
I have hadSamsungs since maybe the 9. I have always been able to set time zone not to change and it never has reset. (This waswith the 9, 10, 20, 21, 22, 23 Ultra all with another provider.) I have the S23 now from T-mobile and every time the phone goes off, restarts or updates, I have to go back in and manually turn off automatic time zone, etc. This has obviously made me late numerous times and even cost me money for missing appointments. T-mobile can't fix and Samsung says I can drive an hour away and bring it to the store because they cannot fix issue even with remote access. Please help. Is it possible it is a T-mobile issue amd they just don't recognize it as an issue? Iam happy with T-mobile but this is archaic and quite annoying. Is there a way to test it with the Sim in another phone without doing a complete switch?67Visto0likes1ComentarioService outage in Ann Arbor, MI
Trying to get a hold of TMobile support or to find out if there's an outage from last night's storm. I am unable to make or receive any phone calls using mobile data. The phone only works for internet, when I turn on the wifi for a connection. The network seems to be trying to come on, every now and then, but it can't seem to hold a signal for very long.184Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobile Hotspot Usage Bug with Tidal Streaming
I have been having issues with Tidal streaming on my Samsung S24 since February '24. I have determined that the data that Tidal is using to stream music is being recognized as "hotspot data" by T-Mobile. Each carrier billing cycle the T-Mobile system sends me a message stating I have hit my hotspot data cap. At that time Tidal becomes extremely slow and encounters buffering issues. All of my other applications work perfectly fine, I have unlimited data with my T-Mobile plan (Magenta Max55+), but for some reason, Tidal is using hotspot data or its data usage is being miscategorized as hotspot data. On my phone hotspot data usage reported is 0GB month over month. I never use my hotspot. Something weird is going on here, I am not sure if it is on the Tidal side in how it requests data or on the T-Mobile. I need help in having this issue investigated and escalated to the appropriate parties (Either at Tidal, T-Mobile, or maybe even Samsung). I have attempted to inform T-Mobile but they their phone support seems ill-equipped to handle uncommon technical problems. I am not sure if this will ever be resolved. I suppose in T-mobiles eyes this would be like a "P4" priority. Unless there is some security risk involved I doubt they will care.
