Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. ¿Tienes alguna idea?88KViews22likes79ComentariosDNS issue on T-Mobile ISP
I switched to T-Mobile ISP a week back and only reason for that was couple of pretty good offers. From the time I switched I honestly was regretting as I was facing DNS issues with a few websites and sometimes my work VPN too. It will not be able to reach a few websites for a few minutes and then it would just work like nothing happened. Initially I could not understand what can cause this but then it occurred to me that it must be DNS issue. To my horror, I realized that DNS (and in fact even many basic settings) can not be configured on this T-Mobile gateway. I was facing this issue on a macbook, everything else just worked fine so I then thought of seeing what my macbook was using. It showed local network configured as DNS server, I removed that and added cloudflare's DNS1.1.1.1. That has fixed my problem. In short: If you are facing trouble in reaching some websites periodically and this is happening only on a few devicesthen try switching DNS on your device to 1.1.1.1 or some other open DNS servers.4KViews0likes1ComentarioWhat Network to use in Philippines
Going to the Philippines. I have a Magenta plan but I'd like to know, when I get to the Philippines and setup my cellular Network what will I choose in order for my phone (I have Iphone SE) to work? Or can I just turn on my phone and it will automatically select a network that's connected to TMobile? Help please. Thanks!3.8KViews0likes7ComentariosNew Phone not Connecting to T-mobile Network
Hello, I bought a new phone, the Kyocera 702KC. It is fully unlocked and when I popped my SIM in, it gave me a bar and I attempted to make a call, in the middle of the ringing, I got disconnected and can not join T-mobile again. I was told to set-up APN, but I do not know what to type in. When I go to network setting, and click on T-mobile, it says "can't connect to this network right now, try again later"Solved1.8KViews1like13Comentariosoneplus 9 series android 12
T-Mobile has patiently tested and failed Oneplus's rushed updates. Wisely they prevented buggy deviation being released on their subscribers. They just pushed a update a few ago with the new security updates. They are testing the later 12 updates and have found a dozen new bugs that are unacceptable. So we are still on 11. I hope OnePlus quickly resolves T-Mobile's detected flaws and releases an update for T-Mobile to retest. I appreciate not being saddled with bugs just to have the latest software. T-Mobile takes better care of their customers then most. I also appreciate the continually improving network conditions. The Sprint tower reworks and band adjustments have been improving service here but by bit. Keep it up and soon there will be more of us in Pink.1.4KViews2likes4ComentariosWhy is my Pixel 3 not eligible for a new SIM card?
I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years now, with very few issues. Once T-Mobile and Sprint merged I began to see the quality of my cell service drop over time, and then Ireceived an email stating that I could come in to a T-Mobile store for a "SIM swap" to take advantage of the "T-Mobile Network Experience". When I went in to the T-Mobile store, the employee told me that he could swap my SIM card in just a few minutes. Then, after putting in all of my information he said that my phone did not qualify for the SIM swap and that I would have to upgrade to a new phone to qualify. He even showed me on the computer that the system was prompting him to tell me this. I have an unlocked Pixel 3, that I purchased outright from Google two years ago. The phone is even listed as a compatible device by T-Mobile here (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/lte-band-compatible-devices). The employee at the store told me that Sprint towers are being shut down, and that my service will continue getting worse until I get a T-Mobile SIM card. It seems that T-Mobile is trying to force me in to spending hundreds of dollars on a new phone just to have decent service again. I feel like I'm being scammed here. Does anyone have information on why I can't get a T-Mobile SIM card for my Pixel 3? I've tried getting answers in store and through the customer service chat function online with no actual answer other than "Your phone doesn't qualify". I should be given a new SIM regardless of the phone if the merger is causing Sprint customers to lose service as the towers are being shut down. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Paid off the lastpymton all my equipmentin acct, so I unlocked my phone via settings. I'm confused with a message that keeps on popping up on my screen on my cell, and my tablet now states that my unlock has expired? Below is the pop up message: Your phone's network unlock will expire in 1 days. SIM cards from other service providers will no longer work. Can anyone help me out please. I thought once paid up you own all equipment, hence unlocked with no expiration ... better off when trading in, etc. Thanks ...Solved799Visto0likes13Comentarios
