My iPhone SE is frequently losing signal and not connecting to the internet. Calls are dropped sporadically and can't access email or 611 for T-Mobile support, but another phone on the same family plan has no problems. The phone is up to date on all updates. What can I do so it doesn't happen again or what can fixed so it stops happening in a timely manner?Solved206Visto0likes7Comentarioscellular data not working for iphone 13 pro
Off and on since I switched from Verizon last year to T mobile, I've had problems with my phone connecting/using the cellular data when the Wi-fi is turned off (I have the Magenta plan, no blocks, I am the account owner, etc). This is for an iphone 12 pro. I called T mobile early on(last year) and they did something on their end that fixed the problem temporarily. However, the problem would intermittently reoccur, and I had to toggle Airplane mode at least a few days a week to get the cellular data to work again. So that's basically what I've been doing for the past 1 year (smh) As of this past Monday, the previous workaround I mentioned above is no longer working. Now, my phone will not work at allwith cellular data. When I'm on Wi-fi, everything is fine. But with Wi-fi off, nothing works. This is with 4 bars, 5G UC, in an area with supposed good service, iOS up to date, VPN is off. Other people around me with T mobile are not having this problem. I can make phone calls and send text messages just fine. It's specifically No cellular data I spent2 hours on the phone two days ago and againyesterday with Tech Support. We tried switching to an eSim, which did not work. Then they told me to get a new physical SIM card. I went into a local T mobile store and they switched it out for a new one. Didn't work. Then they told me it was my phone and that I needed to upgrade. Went ahead and did the upgrade (now have a brand new iphone 13 pro), and a new SIM card was put in, and still the same problem. We tried doing a troubleshoot where they put a SIM card from a demo in-store device into my phone and everything worked no problem (meaning that the phone itself is fine). We also took my new SIM card and put it into a demo in-store device and it was not working Therefore, it seems that there is somethingon the account/system end that is causing a problem. The representatives have looked through my account and don't see any problems. No blocks. Web guard is turned off. We even tried switching Plans from Magenta to Essentials to see if this would work. Still no fix to the problem. Now I have a ticket in with the support team and am supposed to wait for them to call me back (can take up to 3 days). So now I am just waiting in limbo without my cellular data working. Has anyone been through a similar problem and found a solution?? I am definitely very frustrated and need an answer soon. I am starting to think the only solution is to switch to a different company Please help!2.5KViews4likes6ComentariosError Codes Wan005 and Wan002
Does anyone else using the T mobile Home Internet model KVD21 have this happen to them? My internet worked great for the first month, and about 2 days ago or so the internet just drops randomly and won't reconnect and will give me error codes Wan005 and Wan002 until I factory reset it. Turning it off and on again multiple times doesn't fix the error either. And when I do factory reset it, whenever it goes to reboot it gets stuck in a cycle where it keeps restarting over and over until randomly it finally reboots after unplugging and plugging it back in multiple times. This is super frustrating as you could probably imagine and I have no idea why out of nowhere it started doing this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, if it continues I guess I will try to see about getting a replacement unit. Thanks for any input or thoughts on what could be the issue!Solved77KViews0likes13ComentariosHow do I report an issue with home internet mobile app?
The home internet mobile app provided by T-Mobile has an issue. My router will often be connected to the tower but stop providing internet to connected devices, and the devices are all connected to the router by either Wi-Fi or Ethernet. When this happens the router must be rebooted. Upon opening the mobile app it shows a screen with the following: 1 Go to Wi-Fi settings on your phone. 2 Connect to the T-Mobile Wi-Fi network and enter your password. 3 Return to the app to continue. A button with "Go to settings" in red. If I go to settings, my Wi-Fi shows connected to my SSID but also says "cannot provide internet". If I close settings, the T-Mobile app may proceed to the status page showing how many bars are present connecting to the tower and an X between the gateway and internet (tower). If I get here I can touch "more" then choose to reboot the gateway. This is fine. I don't like the fact I must reboot the gateway so often, but like the T-Mobile speed and price, so put up with it. This is the issue. Sometimes upon returning from the settings screen for the phone, where it shows Wi-Fi is connected but no internet, it just shows the screen with three numbers again. It will not proceed to the status screen. Because it does not proceed to the status screen I cannot touch "more" then go on to reboot the gateway. This is a severe annoyance. Because I can't reboot the gateway using the mobile app I must go upstairs and power cycle the gateway. I work at home, and only need internet to check email and refresh my projects. When the mobile app does not allow me to reboot the gateway I MUST STOP MY WORK and T-MOBILE COSTS ME TIME. Please change the mobile app so it will always go to the status screen regardless of a goodWi-Fi connection providing internet. Also, when the gateway is not providing internet, it still allows my local network to function and devices can still talk to each other. For this state, none of the devices can get outside the local network for internet. I can see the status page at http://192.168.12.1, It shows bars for the tower connection with an X between the gateway and internet (tower). Please install a button and functionality on the locally served gateway page to reboot the gateway.Solved496Visto0likes5Comentariosinseego FW2000e and Asus router NO INTERNET
This home internet has been a disaster from the start. Someone please explain this to me: Internet dropped again tonight. Rebooted inseego. Nothing. Unplugged wan from router and into computer directly. Rebooted Inseego. Nothing. Went into Inseego settings and changed from 5G/LTE to force only LTE. I have strong LTE internet on the computer. BUT when I unplug the wan from the computer back into the router and reboot everything? No internet. Router tells me DHCP not functioning properly from ISP. Why is this? How do I fix it? What can I do/try? thanks409Visto0likes2ComentariosHome internet: devices connect to network but no internet
I know there are posts already but I can't seem to figure out the best solution. I've been using the Gateway now for a few weeks and have since needed to turn off/on the tower multiple times because my connected devices say "no internet" when connected. Just the past 2 mornings alone there have been connection issues. I already have a weak connection no matter where the tower is placed which is frustrating. I want to continue to use TMobile's Home Internet but I'm losing patience with the inconsistency and unreliable service. (Not to mention the app to check is worthless if you aren't connected to the Wi-Fi) How can I fix this problem?1.9KViews3likes4Comentarios
