Anyone else having trouble with TMobile meeting it's promises. Three attempts now to be reimbursed for iPhone through keep and switch program. I guess they think you will just forget about what they promise you to get you to switch from AT&T. I don't know if anybody can help. Encountered a few deal breaking moments with T-mobile Home Wifi internet. I get a whopping 100-235mbps with my High-Speed Internet Gateway but it prevents full access to apps causing extreme lag spikes, pages not loading and video not playing with Amazon Prime Video (on PS4 and on Amazon Fire Stick 4k), TD Ameritrade trading platform for Windows 10, and to a lesser extent apps like Epic Games on PC I also have T-vision TV package, that works fine. So does Netflix. Epic games was able to be fixed once telling PC to use Google DNS 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4. respectively. I had to use Nord VPN to get TD Ameritrade to function correctly without freezing at times, DNS change did not work here. Amazon prime video is still a no go, constantly stops and takes a long time to load again only to stop again. DNS change also did not resolve the issue. It should still work with Nord VPN because it bypasses all T-Mobile filters, but I did not buy T-mobile Home WiFi internet to need the VPN all the time, so I did not bother trying VPN with Prime Video. Is that something we can possibly fix in firmware? And soon please? Speaking of firmware. There is no place to get a new Firmware update which the High-Speed Internet Gateway critically needs. It lacks too many features. One the most needed features is to allow the High-Speed Internet Gateway to turn in just a modem and turn off all routing features so that users can bring their own independent routers to handle DHCP and other advanced functions. High-Speed Internet Gateway also has a bug where I can not fully disable all of the WiFi Signals. You can stop broadcast and SSID from being announced and reduce the radio power for 2.4ghz and 5ghz from 100% down to 12% but it is still not entirely off. I can still see a 5ghz band displaying a signal and allows me to connect when WiFi is supposed to be disabled. Apparently there is a 5Ghz low and 5Ghz high antenna mode. And the 5ghz high is the one that remains visible and usable. Can not be turned off. I don't want to use the hub for wifi, just want to use hard wired internet. I hope to see these issues addressed in the next firmware update with a resources on where we can obtain the new firmware update file as right now there is no information on that anywhere for the new High-Speed Internet Gateway. At the very least I want to see the simple feature of turning the gateway into a modem all by itself and I can handle all the routing on my end instead and if it comes to it I can do a whole house VPN that way and bypass all the problems. Older gateways had the expert mode from what I could see, please bring that back too if you can. Thank you for reading! And for the help! Mike P.S. Does anyone have an unpublished way to contact the Fraud Department? This whole setup at T-Mobile is pathetic. This internal department exists that can deactivate an account on a whim, and no one can contact them. Customer Care can't get a hold of them; the number they used to have was deactivated. The store support teams can't contact them; the best they can do is open a case and wait to hear back. How is this acceptable when T-Mobile sells itself as the friendly, no BS carrier? I'm paid up on my charges (it's a brand new account), but my account was marked fraudulent in the middle of a porting process. You deactivated not only my T-Mobile services, but also terminated my old carrier's plan due to the port. I also have no guarantee as of now that I'll be keeping my number. Everyone I contact just quotes the standard "24 to 48 hours" response for fraud responses, but that's unacceptable. If you don't know what I'm talking about, pray that you never travel frequently or try to make account changes while travelling. I Have been having peoblems using my Direct Carrier Billing, and I would like to know as to why this is happening. It worked perfectly fine before. I would also appreciate it if you tell me how to fix iit.I have the netflix on us thing by tmobile and an expert said that i could not use these two features together. Absolutely worst carrier around, I’ve been with T-Mobile for over a year now and the service is, it doesn’t work anywhere at all, I’m sitting here with 3-4 bars 5G LTE, and I can’t use my data or make phone calls anywhere , nothing works at all and upon going to 4 DIFFERENT T-Mobile stores I keep being told “if you don’t like it then cancel, I travel around for work and it works no where, I will be canceling as soon as my phone is paid off, Tried troubleshooting with tech support and it took5 hours over the phone and her messing with my phone, 5 hours later and I got no results and my phone and service is still, they gave me a petty $30 off my phone bill and won’t help anymore unless I sit there for hours and hours for them to attempt troubleshooting, I’ve been through it and it helps nothing, Most useless and inconsiderate customer service and phone service around, If you are thinking about joining TMobile my recommendation is DO NOT, NEVER JOIN TMOBILE25Visto1like0ComentariosDevice 360 for apple is a rip off and pain
Ok so has anyone else had to deal with this much to replace a phone?? For the past 10-15 yrs through all different cell providers, I've still had assurant as the insurance in the past. It was nice and simple. You file a claim you pay the deductible. They send you a new phone you send yours back done not this time!!! So I went to file a claim and assurants web site through T-Mobile they tell me I'm eligible for AppleCare services ok something new (for me) so I get transferred to their site to file claims nothing worked like it was supposed to first I get told I have to pay full price for a replacement because it's so badly damaged so that's not right because why am I paying for this insurance if I have to pay all this money for a new phone anyways so then I start a chat with Apple and they told me I actually have applecare plus so they can do the replacement it's like 100 bucks I have an IPhone 13 Pro Max so he tells me there's gonna be two charges on my card. One is an authorization hold hold for the full replacement value of the phone and the second is the actual charge for the replacement so over $1000!!! Pay all that they mail you a new phone you sent back your old one and the authorization hold drops!!! OK what about people who don't have uh all that money to be held for days on end or just flat out don't have that much money so then they tell me the only other option is to go into an Apple store doesn't matter if you live near one or not you better figure it out!! in my case. The closest Apple store is an hour each way so it's not too bad, but this is my son's phone that he broke that he has to pay for. He's 17 he works almost full-time and goes to school. I have a life so we have to figure out when we're both available to be gone for a minimum of three hours, probably maybe longer!! Whatever we will get it done but the point is what if somebody doesn't drive and lives in a rural area or a smaller town Apple stores are only in big cities and they don't have that kind of money to be held?? I just feel like this is a lot of headache to be paying for every month. There's all these new insurance companies out here and honestly there's one that starts with an a they will cover your phone and up to 25 other personal items for less than I've been paying!! And you don't have to deal with the hassle of going anywhere. It's all done through the mail likes the way it used to be was just a deductible. I just feel like this is too much now expecting people to put down that kind of money or find a way to go to an Apple store, so in my case Assurant and T-Mobile lost a customer for their insurance that's a very big chunk of change considering that it's me and four of my children that all have phones!! I might have stayed if it was the way it used to be but not with all of these problems. I'm glad I looked into other alternative choices. Not to mention the person I was talking to with Apple said that I could get AppleCare plus directly through them for cheaper than through assurant or T-Mobile!! so I found a company I like the better because they cover other stuff but otherwise you're better off to just get AppleCare plus it's way cheaper I guess I want to say about seven or eight dollars a month. I might be off a few dollars but it's way cheaper than insurance through T-Mobile and they cover pretty much the same stuff!! I got the home internet being a 21 year old just moving out into the world. I only use it to game I told them that they said it would be perfect! Especially with a ethernet cable! I was lied to I'm currently sitting at 1.5 mbps for upload and it drops lower and 20-50 for downloading making gaming literally impossible! I can't even connect to my own psn! Without the ethernet the PS5 won't even connect to it! The PS5 say the connect far to weak to connect.I've call the T mobile technicians 3 times and every time I get a told that they're gonna fix things on their end and to reboot itand then end the call with me.IfI get told that a gonna im just gonna end my service, so maybe someone here can help and keep me at T mobile!214Visto1like6Comentariosso sick of customer service getting everything wrong
I am so tired of customer service screw ups. Sit on the phone over an hour just to talk to someone then they screw up my request so bad that my life will be hell for the next 2 weeks trying to get what I want as well as correct their mistakes. Grrrrrrr68Visto1like1Comentario
