What has happened to John Legere's Company?

I've been totally loyal to T-Mobile until now.  No longer.  The company that John Legere ran and perfected is gone.  Everything is changing including prices.  Mine went up $10 per month.

T-Mobile is like a robot that when created becomes so powerful that it destroys the very people that created it.  Humans to the robot have become irrevelant.  Well, customers to T-Mobile have also become irrevelant.  Without all the loyal customers that John Legere brought to T-Mobile, T-Mobile would be nothing, absolutely nothing.  Now the news is more acquisitions are in order for T-Mobile.

Therefore I will let the Un-carrier to themselves and lucky for me there is other places to go and I'll be moving.  This is my last month on the Un-carrier.

It was never 'his', but shareholders.  He was there for a purpose - to attempt to make T-Mobile as large as AT&T/Verizon by not having the appearance of being like AT&T and Verizon.

Of course, once the transformation was done - time to cut and run.  There is no 'loyalty' to a corporation.  It is there to make a profit.  Legere flipped the company, and now as it is becoming more like the other 2 in size, it is also becoming that way as a .. 'carrier'.

    Eg.

    • was against bundling of services (now bundles and adds all sorts)
    • was against increased rates with the uncontract - now will break it purposely and give you 1 month
    • was against activation fees - now requires them

T-Mobile for some is still the low cost option, it just isn’t the same (or appears the same) as before T-Mobile / Sprint deal.

I'm well aware that shareholders own the company.  And, if it wasn't for John Legere T-Mobile would have gone bust.  You missed my point entirely.  Without thousands of customers that were made promises by T-Mobile,  Instead of T-Mobile acquiring other companies, other companies would have acquired T-Mobile.  Regardless I'm gone.

    CAVEAT EMPTOR!

  • What we are seeing with T-Mobile  is the natural result of reduced competition. This is why I am cheering for Dish to actually complete and operate a fourth Nationwide wireless network.

Since Legere left,  it feels like the company is falling off a cliff.
