Re: new voice mail and it's asking me to setup voicemail
My phone never rings any longer, either. In addition, the last voice mail I got showed it came five days earlier than it came! It's not a problem for me, but understand how it would be for someone who uses the phone in a normal way. I suspect it is strictly a T-Mobile problem, not a phone problem, just like they recently wouldn't allow use of voice mail unless you recorded a message starting with your name. My phone is the Moto G Stylus 5G, which I got on sale direct from Motorola for $200.00. I never buy a phone that costs more than $200 on sale, and never one where I would be stuck with payments or obligated to stay with a service untilit's paid off.181Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: new voice mail and it's asking me to setup voicemail

Stay silent for your name recording 2. Decline leaving the greeting message 3. Choose to use your name as your greeting Go back to using automated greeting: 1. Go back to the main voicemail menu 2. Select option 3 for "Create a greeting" 3. Select option 5 to use your phone number as your greeting. Thanks, that worked for me today. I chatted with a T-Mobile rep online last week who told me it was Motorola, my phone's maker, that controlled how voicemail worked, not T-Mobile!16Visto0likes0ComentariosDoes Internet Price Go Up If You No Longer Have A Cell Phone?
I've had a T-Mobile cell phone for decades and I'm sick and tired of cell phones and texting. (I also don't travel.) I'm seriously considering getting a Cox landline for $20. The house is already wired for that. Question for those who got rid of a T-Mobile phone after getting the internet--did you internet monthly bill increase? I could get Cox internet for $50 a month, but I really do like T-Mobile internet. I really do like T-Mobile phone service, and have never had a problem with it, but I am sick and tired of cell phones, and could save over $25 a month with a landline.Solved138Visto0likes2ComentariosRe: Amazon Prime Video on SmartTV
rontom wrote: Thought I would weigh in on this topic since I have the same problem with TMHI and Amazon Prime video. The prime app will load (slowly) but refuses to play videos (or trailers). My set up is tmhi Sagemcom gateway, TCL smart TV, and I just got the new Onn 4k pro streaming box. Everything works except Amazon. The Sony TV in the bedroom has a Google chromcast and it does not play videos on Amazon Prime either. Please TMO try and solve this problem, it's for real. 📺 Instead of waiting for a fix, you might do what others suggest and get a cheap Fire TV stick and use that to stream Prime Video. Also, you can connect to Prime Video on your PC or cell phone and cast it to your Sony TV, after setting up casting. I am doing that now with Tubi TV, since their latest update made their app incompatible with my Sony Bravia. I bring up what I want to watch my desktop or Moto cell phone and cast it to my TV. The Sony remote even works in pausing, FF, RW and stopping what I am watching. P.S. An odd thing I discovered today . . . I turned off my cell phone, in the middle of a show, to disconnect from Tubi, but the show continued to play on my TV even after my cell phone was off! Someone please explain how that could be. :)23Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Amazon Prime Video on SmartTV
I have the Arcadyam KVD21 Gateway and a Sony Bravia TV, all connected to an eero 6+ router system. I have never had any problem with the Prime Video app on the TV. It's the Apple TV app that won't work. Constant pixelating problem! Can't watch anything.14Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Compatible Outdoor Security Camera & Lights . . . .

Plus, their $3 subscription plan isn't bad, if I change my mind about not using a plan.103Visto0likes0ComentariosCompatible Outdoor Security Camera & Lights . . . .
From your experience, which wireless outdoor security cameras with floodlights workwell with T-Mobile internet and which do not? I know from my own experience, using an indoor Panasonic window camera, that T-Mobile internet does not work as well as Cox did. When I access the camera videos on my cell phone with the Panasonic Homehawk app, it always shows I amremotelyconnecting, even though I am at home, and the video playback in veryslow. Thus, I don't want additionalproblems with the outdoor wireless camera I get. Plus, I prefer to get a camera without a subscription, if that makes a difference.2.6KViews0likes9ComentariosStreaming Problem May Be Your TV . . . .
This post is just for information if anyone else starts having problem with streaming on their smart TV. I have a Sony Bravia and occasionally have problems streaming, due to T-Mobile internet not connecting or due to my speeds being too low. It only occasionally happens, but when it does, the apps will either say there is no internet connection, or will do nothing but buffer forever, or not start at all. Sometimes an app, such as Peacock, will not start period, when all others do. That is a problem with the app, and I go to the settings on the Sony, go to the specific app, clear the cache, and then choose "open". Once or twice that did not work and I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. That made it work. This weekend, I could not stream anywhere because all the apps either would not open, or a black screen would appear, or the app would open and then freeze. It was very unlike when I have problems with T-Mobile internet. Since I am on the east coast and we did have some very strong winds and heavy rain for a couple of days, I was thinking it might be the weather. We had no outages, however, and when the weather cleared, the problem was still there. I restarted the T-Mobile tower and my eero routers various times, but that did not work. Finally, I unplugged the TV and then plugged it back in. That instantly solved the problem! Hence, don't automatically thinkany and allstreaming problems arecaused by T-Mobile internet. Try unplugging your TV if the problem isn't like the usual internet connection problems.655Visto0likes2Comentarios
