data usage
12 TopicsHow to check data usage for Home Internet
I recently got T-Mobile Home Internet and I love it. However, I'd like to see how much data each device (or at least all devices) are using on the device. How can I check this out? The phone app does not show me this information, and when I log into the console via the admin IP, it doesn't show me this information either. How can I find out data usage? I have a attached a cropped out image (I'm hiding the serial number) of basically all that I see in the console. There is no data usage information. ¡Gracias!Solved6.5KViews0likes10ComentariosI am going on cruise to the carribean on norwegian gem- what should I do to be ale to get data for emails and text?

Hi. I am on the Home Internet Lite plan that has a 100 GB max. I noticed I have data usage reported when no one is even awake or even home (just husband and I, so no kids online when should be asleep). Ex. We went away for a week and had data usage (It was minimal, and I assume due to routine antivirus scans on laptops). But data usage spiked from 1.2 MB to 1000 MB a few times. Can anyone explain how this can be? What is chewing up our data all day long even when not using internet? I don't like unexpected/unexplained data usage spikes especially since we have a capped plan for data usage. Internet is securely password protected. Thx!2.4KViews0likes9ComentariosWhy does my usage record show small amounts of mobile data shortly after midnight?
I am home most of the time and access the internet over WiFi. When I'm away from home, I may access the internet to check my calendar but rarely for anything else. Yet my usage record shows small amounts of data usage(for example, 0.0087 MB) being used shortly after midnight every night. These small amounts don't add up to anything significant, but I'm hoping someone can explain if they're normal, and if so, what they're for.567Visto0likes3ComentariosTmobile home internet bleeding data?
since after 9 months of being on waiting list unlimited TMobile internet is still not available, they convinced me to try the 100 GB a month plan. Anyone else finding they are being lied to about the data being used?? It said I went through 100 GB in under a week and I was only watching shows on Netflix and Crunchyroll, only 1 device connected, no additional downloads... and according to T-Mobile texts from the time it texted me I was at 95% to the time it texted me I used 100% data was only 20 minutes.. there is no way I watched 5 gigs worth of movie/show in 20 minutes, even HD 4k takes about 1 hours per GB used... and then I go to the data usage section on T-Mobile it says I used all 100 GB, but further down the page it shows only 96 GB was used.. and now that I'm using low speed, it's even slower then low speed tethering from my phone.. (TMobile internet low speed is 2G .. TMobile phone tethering low speed is 3G ... 3 G you can still watch Netflix and amazon video, 2G you can't even get passed the log in page)499Visto1like8ComentariosAre two devices using my data simultaneously?
I'm pretty new to this hotspot business, but I've learned not to connect my iPhoneto my Wi-Fi hotspot and to use my unlimited cellular data instead. I got a FaceTime call, took it on my iPhone, and used up over a gigabyte of cellular data on my phone. Fine. But at the same time my Wi-Fi hotspot showedalmost 2 GB of data use. Is my iPad using Hotspot data even though I take the call on the phone? Do I need to turn off my iPad anytime I'm not using it? ¿En serio?133Visto0likes1ComentarioWhy do multiple 100 MB data usages show up on my Connect by T-Mobile account?
Having afrustratingproblem with my Connect by T-Mobile phone plan. During the past week like clockwork, I am showing a data usage of100 MB multiple times per day, which uses up my 3.5 GB of data very quickly. I have the bare minimum of apps onthe phone and don't update most of the Google apps. I don't stream videos and only do some basic web browsing. T-Mobile customer support could only recommend turning my mobile dataoffwhen not using the phone. Gave no explanation for the 100 MB data entries. Anyone have an idea on what might be causing this? I've noticed that ever since the recent updates to the T-Mobile app and the website, the mobile hotspot data usage information is completely off. For example, right now my account shows 0.03 GB of mobile hotspot data used. I'm almost certain it's a thousand times higher than that - closer to 30GB. My account runs from the 26th of the month and I typically use my full 100GB allotted data each month. So 30GB would be reasonable, but 0.03GB is absolutely not. Why is the usage information so colossally wrong? It wasn't this way 2 months ago.119Visto0likes0Comentarios43151.0107 MB used on a working Monday at home
Hello, I received an alert that I was nearing my 50 GB of data for the month. This isn't a frequent alert for me so I logged int to see what had happened. I work from home with wifi Mon-Fri and the data record on my account shows: 10/30/23 02:30 PM 43151.0107 MB Internet Access This amount seems crazy high and I can't recall doing anything special as I do most of my work from my laptop on wifi, not on my phone. Is there a way to see where that data usage came from?113Visto0likes8Comentarios
