31 TopicsShould I be held accountable for false information given to me?
It all started when I tried ordering 3 watches. I called T-Mobile and the rep had told me for a sync up kids 2 watch I would need a voiceline. So I got a google pixel with the watch. It turned out I didn't need the voiceline and I was able to return the phone and not be charged anything. So I call T-Mobile again and ask about the pixel 2 watches and they said I'd need a voiceline for them. So I ask about the apple watches and the rep said they are stand alones and I could use my Ipad to set them up. So I order 2 of them. Turns out I couldn't use them. I only opened one and the other was still sealed. I brought them back to the store within the time frame and only got $10.00 out of nearly $80.00. They called it a restocking fee. I tried getting my money back the rep at the store said it wasn't in her power to give me more than what someone on the phone had told her to give me. I leave the store get home and call T-Mobile and ask for a manager. I explain to her that I feel like I have been swindled because I was given false information and now I'm out money. She got aggravated, vocal and snotty and told me that there would be a $10 credit applied to my account. So I figured I'd submit a complaint but everytime I ask how to they ask me why and how they can help and if I'm persistent about it the chat just ends or the call drops….Am I crazy for thinking I got swindled?85Visto0likes0ComentariosReembolsos

I check my Internet bill on the first of every month, unless it says I have a credit the month before. (Sometime I prepay a month or so in advance) July, it said I had a credit and this month... September, it said I owed a reactivation fee of 24 bucks! That's close to half my bill! I went through all my bills again with a fine tooth comb only to see that they take the money from the credit on the 19th, so me checking on the first was pointless!56Visto0likes0ComentariosS24 Ultra issues and problems
I bought the S24 Ultra Friday and here it is Saturday, and this is the absolutely worst phone experience I've ever had my entire Iife. Setting this up to my preferences is incredibly difficult and I keep getting notifications for apps and magazines I DO NOT WANT and there doesn't appear to be a way to stop those annoyances. I'll be returning it Monday expecting full refund $1300 plus tax and set up fees, canceling My TMobilesubscription (22 year subscriber) and moving on permanently. What a waste of my time.185Visto0likes1ComentarioT-Mobile Hotspot Usage Bug with Tidal Streaming
I have been having issues with Tidal streaming on my Samsung S24 since February '24. I have determined that the data that Tidal is using to stream music is being recognized as "hotspot data" by T-Mobile. Each carrier billing cycle the T-Mobile system sends me a message stating I have hit my hotspot data cap. At that time Tidal becomes extremely slow and encounters buffering issues. All of my other applications work perfectly fine, I have unlimited data with my T-Mobile plan (Magenta Max55+), but for some reason, Tidal is using hotspot data or its data usage is being miscategorized as hotspot data. On my phone hotspot data usage reported is 0GB month over month. I never use my hotspot. Something weird is going on here, I am not sure if it is on the Tidal side in how it requests data or on the T-Mobile. I need help in having this issue investigated and escalated to the appropriate parties (Either at Tidal, T-Mobile, or maybe even Samsung). I have attempted to inform T-Mobile but they their phone support seems ill-equipped to handle uncommon technical problems. I am not sure if this will ever be resolved. I suppose in T-mobiles eyes this would be like a "P4" priority. Unless there is some security risk involved I doubt they will care. I bought a brand new Franklin Wireless RG2100 in December 2023 from the flagship T Mobile store in Las Vegas. I am in NY and it is faulty. I took it to a Boston T Mobile store who told me they couldn't do anything as it was pre-paid (bought outright) and to call customer service. I went to New Haven T Mobile store who told me to call customer service while instore as they had no process to deal with a pre-paid faulty device. We called customer service who didn't know what to do. I called customer service the next day and spoke to a supervisor who also said he could do nothing. I have paid for a brand new device that is genuinely faulty, under warrantyand still looks brand new, yet T Mobile have taken my money and refuse to refund me or give me a replacement device. Nobody disputes the unit is faulty, even though customer service imply they don't trust me, however their own store on the phone told them it was as responsive as a "brick". What they are doing is nothing short of theft as they know it is faulty, they know it is under warranty, yet they won't give any means to replace, fix or refund it. To clarify, there isn't even a light scratch on the device, it still looks brand new and still in it's original box.149Visto0likes3ComentariosBilled for phone I have returned and reconnection fees
I actually thought this issue couldn't possibly be something that is common with T-Mobile. I have beencharged forphones that I have returned. I tried to return the phones at a T-Mobile store. I was told the store does not accept the returned phones. I was instructed to bring the phones to UPS with the return label and box that T-Mobile provided. I then did so that same day. I was then billed for both phones $2,400.00. I called and provided the tracking number and UPS confirmed phones was delivered to dock in Texas, and was sent within the 14day time period. The T-Mobile representative statedthat they received the phones and that have just not been processed. We decided to turn off auto payment so, Iwouldn't pay for phones while in process. The T-Mobile representative instructed me to continue with my regular payments and the $10 dollar auto-pay will be credited to me at a latter date and my account will not be turned off. I said great in-reply when asked if they can count on mereferring T-Mobile. Thereafter, seemingly at weekly basis for 2 to 3 months my account isturned off. I would callevery time (hours) and the T-Mobile representative would respond with. Sorry, we received the phones but myaccount has not been credited. The T-Mobile representative would turn my account back on and said no reconnection fee will be charged and they will start a investigation and/or wait for completion and/or speak with back office and respond. To date, I have been billed many times for reconnection fees and have not been credited for the 10 dollar auto-pay nor the phones. I then decided to give up, considering I rely on the phone to be working for my business with clients on different time zones. This issue had aneffect on my business and alarm system. I called to cancel and asked for the phone that I paid in full to be unlocked. The T-Mobile representative stated that I must pay for the other two phones and bring the account in good standing. So, apparently I need to pay T-Mobile $2,400 for one phone to be unlocked that I already paid for. Hmmm, thoughts anyone 🤔 maybe this is how T-Mobilegets free phones to offer free phones?57Visto0likes0Comentariosrefand
