When I get a text, it distracts me as it not only pings my phone, but my Apple watch as well, and it appears on my car's screen. I don't need to be informed that my bill was paid. I need to be informed when something is WRONG, not when things are going right. To make matters worse, if I don't open the text, the phone pings again a minute later. How do I stop these annoying texts?80Visto1like1ComentarioCannot send text messages sporadically; texts are received without issue
I have a Motorola Moto G Power 5G 2023. I sporadically cannot send text messages to anyone, including people in my contact list. This happens regardless of the text message app I'm using (Google, Verizon Message+, etc.). This has been happening since I switched my service to T-Mobile in October 2023, and I'm getting ready to find another carrier if this cannot be resolved. I attempt to send the message, and see an icon at the side that reads "Failed". I'm given the option to try again, cancel, or delete the message. This issue will pop up every couple of weeks, and last for sometimes two or three days. Usually, it's a problem for 12-24 hours. I'm beyond frustrated with this problem. I have cleared the app cache, restarted the phone to no avail. How is T-Mobile going to fix this?187Visto3likes3ComentariosMissing texts on multiple lines - no record in usage report
My wife and I both have Pixel 7 Pro phones with the latest updates installed. We are both in a group text with 2 other people who both have iPhones on Verizon. We'll call themBob and Sue for context. Two nights ago, she received a message in the group text from Sueand I did not. Looking at usage reports on T-Mobile it shows a record on my wife's account of the message from Sue's number but looking at my account it does not. Today, I received a message in the group text from Sue and she did not. Again, looking at usage reports I see the message on my account but not on her account. Based on this, I am assuming that this is NOT something with our phones as T-Mobile systems don't even show these messages in the usage reports. I'd contact support but I'm not sure it would get anywhere and likely they would pass the blame to the other carrier or say it was our phone or the senders phone. Thoughts? Anyone have this happen?413Visto1like1ComentarioLost capability to text: Contacts show sip:[phone number]@msg.pc.tmobile.com;user=phone
Hello, I used to text this mobile phone for several months. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S21. However, today, the text fails to be sent. Then, I look at my contacts for the mobile phone number and it is changed to: sip:[phone number]@msg.pc.tmobile.com;user=phone I removed this and updated the contacts with the correct phone number, but the text does not go through and the contacts is changed back tosip:[phone number]@msg.pc.tmobile.com;user=phone Any idea what is going on? I am able to text other people. Thanks, Paul11KViews12likes68Comentariossip:[phone number]@msg.pc.tmobile.com;user=phone

Hi, Tmobile just recently changed protocol about 10 days ago. We are an answering service and we've been seeing the majority of our messages to doctors, business owners, etc being blocked from Tmobile. Sendgrid is showing that Tmobile is blocking the messages in an effort to cut down on spam. All of our messages are legitimate. Sendgrid is trying to push us to using Twilio's Text to Text API (which I suspect is because Sendgrid was bought out by Twilio and trying to get us to pay an arm and a leg for per text messaging rates). I need to reach out to t-mobile to determine how all of our messages can be added to a whitelist. Blocking our legitimate messages to our customers because they originate from email instead of text to text is seriously impacting our business and we need to find a work around for this asap. That or our only immediate solution will be to tell hundreds of t-mobile uses to switch carriers. I need to get a phone number or email to someone that has the authority to help with this issue - someone w/ TMobile's engineer team - is there someone who can point me in the right direction on who to reach out to. The general TMO support line has been no help despite multiple calls and multiple messages that have amounted to - "don't call us, we'll call you..." and we have yet to hear ANYTHING back after a week and a half!272Visto2likes1ComentarioWon't send sms from two devices
I recently switched my line from AT&T Prepaid to T-Mobile prepaid. I discovered today that for at least the past two weeks my phone has not been sending text messages (or mms), although they appear to have been sent successfully. I've also haven't been receiving all my calls and voicemails left for me. Upon contacting T-Mobile support via online chat, I was met with a refusal of the first representative to help resolve the issue and automatically assumed the problem was my device. He kept insisting that I go to a t-mobile store even though I let the rep know I just tried and failed to send a text from a different device using my SIM and it also showed as successfully sent but was never received by the other party. T-mobile also charged my card a day early from the date stated they would (stated Feb 20) and will not refund my money as I was going to switch back to my previous carrier today to avoid any more of these issues with t-mobile35Visto0likes1ComentarioHow is it possible that Texting via all forms of data isnt working?
Text messages are not working for me (I am receiving sporadically but they are not sending according to multiple Messaging Apps) I'm not a network pro, but if I have WiFi working, Mobile Data working (I can post this question, for instance using my fold), how the heck are texts not finding a way to send? Tried SMS, WiFi calling on/off, RCS on/off, mobile data on/off, and all permutations. Even restarted the device. Duration thus far: 2 hours. Is there an authentication glitch on the TMobile Network? I live in the middle of a big city, I thought 5G meant that there was some tiny amount of robustness and redundancy. Is there some other dependency I do not know about that would mean out going texts fail despite full internet access? The fact this can happen with internet working seems unacceptable especially given thepremium prices. VM is also unavailable to access. There's shockingly little live outtage communication on this website or via support, which is unhelpful. Though it is easy to see the problem affects many others. If I were an enterprise customer something like this would seriously damage my faith in the network stability and redundancy best practices. If there is some otherdependency that often lacka backup (such as authentication) then there should have been a communication on the front page of the site detailing the issue and expected time to fix. These should be considered some of the most basic, barely adequate, business practices, in my opinion, and doubly so for a utility company.184Visto3likes4ComentariosUpgraded from Android to IPhone - Unable to receive text messages from Android Users...
I just upgraded from a Android to an iPhone 14 Plus. I can send text messages to Android users, but their response doesn't come back to my iPhone. It comes into my old Android Device. I tried all the trouble shooting I could find online, as well as spent an hour with a T-Mobile Tech person over the phone. There is no resolve at this point. I will now have to return this phone that I've fallen in love with because I am not going to have a phone that excludes people from communicating with me. I have 7 days to make a decision. I am furious about this. I did find this on the Apple Forums, but it seems it didn't help the T-Mobile Tech get to the bottom of this issue: Apple: not getting texts from androids289Visto0likes2Comentarios
