Hello - I requested a new iphone as an upgrade for my daughter currently in college away from home. The phone arrived in 9/19/2024 in my place. I plan to visit her by end of October, and give her the new phone, activate at that time and then turn in the old phone. However, I received a message reminding me to turn in the old phone by 10/17. Otherwise will lose the trade-in value. I booked my train ticket on 10/30 already and want to keep that timeline. I called Tmobil for help but was told the trade-in deadline isbuilt in the system and they can't change it. All I want is to have the trade-in date extended by 2 weeks. The new phone is not even activated yet as my daughter is still usingher old phone currently. Anyone has some idea how to solve the issue?all advice will be appreciated. Thanks a lot Iphone dad77Visto0likes1ComentarioTrade in Issues
I got the iPhone 12 pro Max and traded in my iPhone X for the $830 promo. I mailed my device on November 24th, walked into the post office and got a receipt for proof I dropped it off.I got the return label directly from a T-mobile store since I couldn't print it at home. I kept the customer copy as well. It's being shipped to Assurant in Texas but my tracking number hasn't been updated since December 2nd. It was supposed to arrive Nov. 30th but got pushed back due to holidays I'm assuming. It needs to be returned by December 20th so now I'm getting paranoid. I'm calling them tomorrow and asking if it would still be honored even if the package got lost. It's not my fault since I did everything correctly. Also all the links on the T-mobile website and app are useless! They just take me to the log in and that's it. So frustrating! I wouldn't have switched over if I knew they're this unorganized. anyone have any similar experiences? I can't open a claim with the USPS since I don't know the exact address it's getting shipped to. My fault for not taking a picture of the label. I just know it's the Assurant in Lewisville, TX 75057.Solved8.5KViews2likes16ComentariosTmobile lost my trade in and is not honoring trade credit. What can I do?
I shipped the trade in to T-Mobile, the tracking says it was delivered. I called them to ask about my trade in credit and they said they never received the phone. I provided them the tracking number and the email saying how much my trade in was approved for. They are now only offering me $80 from what was supposed to be $380. What are my options here? I've been a T-Mobile customer for a very long time with 6 lines and multiple new phones on payment plans.4.3KViews3likes17ComentariosCan I trade in iPhone 15 Pro if I got the back glass panel fixed?
My iPhone 15 Pro fell one foot onto bathroom tiles and the back glass cracked, even though my phone was in the case. I was wondering if I get this back screen replaced by apple if I will still be able to trade this phone in for full value when the time comes. Everything else is fine.175Visto0likes1ComentarioT Mobile Took My Phone Credits
So I upgraded my iPhone 13 to the iPhone 15 Pro upon ordering the lady sent me one with the wrong memory so upon receiving it I called them exchanged it for iPhone 15 pro with The largest memory they gave me buyers remorse, even though it wasn’t my fault upon exchanging the phones they took my credit away for my trade-in because their system messed up upon doing that I have to wait three months to get my credit now so I’m inconvenienced because T-Mobile system didn’t recognize it as a trade inand took my trade in phone credit back absolutely ridiculous!!!!29Visto1like0ComentariosTrade in device problem
I traded in iphone 12 pro max 512 GB for iphone 15 pro max 256 GB in almost 100% perfect condition, no scratches, touch screen, camera and functions working normally, and it was the one I bought from AT&T, I read the conditions and the value of my phone should be $800. On April 30th, May 1st, I received a text message and email saying that T-mobile has not received my mobile and that my dating deal was May 16th. The officer said it may be in the process, it hasn't been scanned into the system, and then I called to follow up on the matter again on May 5th. The officer couldn't check where my phone was, said they couldn't check my IMEI number, but they would follow up on the matter. On May 6th, I received an email saying "Looks like there was a mix up-the make, model or memory of your quoted device doesn't match what we received or it was damaged. We will adjust your trade-in value to $230 because of this difference. For more details, please visit the link below." So I'm still dealing with a trade-in issue from just over a year ago. I mailed my device in, pictures and video of me packing the box, the box taped, with their prepaid label, the tracking number they provided showing it was delivered to the facility, etc. Why go through the extra hassle of photo/video, you may ask, because this happened once before with AT&T by mail trade-in. Well, you can guess what happened. T-mobile claims they see that it was received by their facility but not one person can tell me what was in the package. They claim they cannot find the device in their facility. So I ask, then what notes are made regarding the the receipt of the box and its contents. No notes, no nothing. As far as I can tell, they lost it. USPS says it was delivered and received by them, yet T-Mobile customer service just keeps filing claims to say they'll look for it. 6-8 weeks later, the claim is closed, no notes or updates regarding it, and never once do they follow up. I have to call them, and each time they say they'll need to log another claim and I'll need to wait another 6-8 weeks. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to cancel their service just like I did AT&T. I want to do more. Any one have suggestions?591Visto0likes5ComentariosPromoción n.° 16 de "intercambio de Apple" de 2021
I did anApple Trade-In offer in September 2021 turning in my iPhone X for which I was supposed to get $800. The terms were for 24 months, I am now at 29 of 24 (mind you) with 1 more month to go. I am getting $21.84 credit a month. So far I only have $633.36credited and it will be $655 by the time I am done. THIS IS NOT the $800 promised (and noit wasn't up to $800). I actually have a screenshot of the offer. I am very disappointed and wished TMobile would stick with their original offer. Anybody else had this issue?22Visto0likes0Comentariostraded in phone missing - Tmobile doesn't provided device recovery credit after THEY LOST the device
This is getting extremely frustrating. I upgraded all of my 4 phone lines to new iphones back in December 2021. For each phone I traded in an older iphone for which I was supposed to get a device recovery credit. However, for one of the phones I have still not received the promised credit of $130 after 4+ months. All phones were mailed to "Assurant" using the provided labels. The were all received there according to tracking. And for 3 phones they were "assessed" and the credit was applied to my account the same day they received it. Just this one phone shows "received" in T-Mobile's order history but does not show "assessed". Over the past few months I have spent numerous hours on the phone and in online chat to resolve this. Every time I have to explain this again to a different person who then usually tries to convince me that I already got the credit because they see the credits for the other phones. 2 weeks ago I was finally able to get them to open an inquiry just to get a call today being told they cannot help me and I should contact Assurant. What? I gave that a try too but of courseAssurant says this is handled by TMobile LOL What a joke.1.1KViews0likes2Comentarios
