T-Mobile Trade-in delivery tracking shows 'Available for Pickup' now instead of being 'Delivered'. Next steps?

I dropped off my trade-in device at the USPS after documenting it and it’s condition, along with IMEI number shown prominently.

The delivery label denoted Assurant at Lewisville, TX as the destination. Today, the USPS tracking of the package got updated to 'Available for Pickup' instead of being delivered to the address on the label.

I am confused as to why this happened, and if I need to intervene and schedule a redelivery so that it gets delivered to the Assurant facility.

Please advise. Thank you so much!

Assurant should pick up the devices waiting at the Post Office at least once a month, depending on the inventory they have to currently deal with.  It will still count as delivered when it reached the drop off location.  It just might take a little more time for the trade-in or return to be scanned in and checked.

    Hola syaoran,

Just to clarify - what date do they consider the grad-in phone "received"?  Our phones are in the "ready for pickup" status but I am within a week of the "receive by/offer expiration" date. Obviously am worried about missing it.  Thx

I was told when I inquired about that, that the date would be honored that it arrived at the post office for them to pick it up.  You might want to reach out to the T-Force Team by sending a DM to T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter so they can check it and note your account that it is there and waiting for Assurant to pick it up.  Sometimes T-Mobile will reach out to them to go pick up their packages when promos are on so they don't get months behind for inventorying them, which can cause headaches for T-Mobile.
