T-Mobile Trade-in delivery tracking shows 'Available for Pickup' now instead of being 'Delivered'. Next steps?
I dropped off my trade-in device at the USPS after documenting it and it’s condition, along with IMEI number shown prominently.
The delivery label denoted Assurant at Lewisville, TX as the destination. Today, the USPS tracking of the package got updated to 'Available for Pickup' instead of being delivered to the address on the label.
I am confused as to why this happened, and if I need to intervene and schedule a redelivery so that it gets delivered to the Assurant facility.
Please advise. Thank you so much!

Assurant should pick up the devices waiting at the Post Office at least once a month, depending on the inventory they have to currently deal with. It will still count as delivered when it reached the drop off location. It just might take a little more time for the trade-in or return to be scanned in and checked.
Hola syaoran,
Just to clarify - what date do they consider the grad-in phone "received"? Our phones are in the "ready for pickup" status but I am within a week of the "receive by/offer expiration" date. Obviously am worried about missing it. Thx
I was told when I inquired about that, that the date would be honored that it arrived at the post office for them to pick it up. You might want to reach out to the T-Force Team by sending a DM to T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter so they can check it and note your account that it is there and waiting for Assurant to pick it up. Sometimes T-Mobile will reach out to them to go pick up their packages when promos are on so they don't get months behind for inventorying them, which can cause headaches for T-Mobile.

That is normal. As you can imagine, this 3rd party gets thousands of devices per week so they pick it up from USPS on certain days in bulk. I think my last one took 2-3 days before it got picked up. Once picked up, the status will change to that. It will also take up to a week for them to process the trade in once they pick up.

I have the same problem, its been 4 days my tradein devices are at local post office with status "available for pickup". I'm confused, is 3rd party going to pick up from post office?

I am in same boat, my trade in shows as ready for pickup since 31st Dec. @OP can you please share your experience? When was the trade in picked up and how much time it took for credits to take effect? ¡Gracias!

I'm in the same boat. Can any of you please update your experiences? Looking to confirm if I need to take any steps here for scheduling the delivery and/or pickup.

Posting this to help others in same situation:
Just talked to USPS Post Office where the package shows "available for pickup". They confirmed that package status is correct as they collect all phones coming in until a pallet/truck is full, post which they are sent to Assurant.
Asked to wait for couple of days and status should update to “delivered”.

Just like all of you, I am in the same situation. I mailed my trade in on August 19. The post office in Lewisville TX received it on August 22. The tracking states, "Available for Pick Up" at the Dallas Post Office Network Distribution Center, 2400 DFW Turnpike, Dallas, TX. I will wait and advise when Assurant picks up my phone and the status changes to Delivered. Any feedback would be appreciated. Gracias

If anyone could give me their feedback/experience based on the information below, I would really appreciate it. I am not sure if I need to Re-Schedule Delivery do nothing based on everyone's feedback on previous posts.
I mailed my iphone 11 trade in by USPS on Sat, Aug 19 from Los Angeles. It arrived in Dallas NDC post office on Tuesday, Aug. 22 and the tracking said, "Available for Pickup". This message has stayed the same until this yesterday, Sunday, Aug 27. Now the tracking states:
"Delivery Attempt: Action Needed" in red bold ink. Then below it says, "Reminder to Re-Schedule Delivery of your Item before Sept 5"
Then to the left of tracking notes, there is a box that states:
“LATEST UPDATE - Arrange for Re-Delivery before Sept 5 or your item will be returned on Sept 6”.If anyone has experienced this message (Arrange for Re-Delivery) by the Dallas Post Office on their trade in with Assurant, I would appreciate any feedback to inform me if I should Re-Schedule delivery or leave it alone and know Assurant will be picking up my trade soon when they come for their monthly pick up .
Gracias
