A while back, I was using a security/antivirus app provided free of charge by TMobile. To the best of my knowledge, it was available for installation/use on all my lines on my account. I've found references to Lookout Mobile Security, but that is not the software I'm referring to. If I recall correctly, it was either a McAfee product or a Symantec product. iPhone T-Mobile App issue
Hi everyone, When using the t-mobile app after signing in an error page keeps popping up. It says "Sorry, Something went wrong. No podemos procesar tu solicitud en este momento. Intenta nuevamente más tarde". There are two buttons at the the bottom that say 'Dismiss' and 'Try again'. If you click the dismiss button it just brings you to a white screen with the t-mobile logo in the middle and the words 'and done' at the bottom. If you click try again, the same error screen described above re-appears over and over again.Neither of the buttons fix the issue. I have an iPhone XR. I've downloaded, deleted and re-downloaded the T-mobile app multiple times to remedythe issue but it does not.My account is not pre-paid. Using a web browser, I can log into my account with no issues. Anyone else having these same issues? Anyone have a fix? I don't know if anybody can help. Encountered a few deal breaking moments with T-mobile Home Wifi internet. I get a whopping 100-235mbps with my High-Speed Internet Gateway but it prevents full access to apps causing extreme lag spikes, pages not loading and video not playing with Amazon Prime Video (on PS4 and on Amazon Fire Stick 4k), TD Ameritrade trading platform for Windows 10, and to a lesser extent apps like Epic Games on PC I also have T-vision TV package, that works fine. So does Netflix. Epic games was able to be fixed once telling PC to use Google DNS 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4. respectively. I had to use Nord VPN to get TD Ameritrade to function correctly without freezing at times, DNS change did not work here. Amazon prime video is still a no go, constantly stops and takes a long time to load again only to stop again. DNS change also did not resolve the issue. It should still work with Nord VPN because it bypasses all T-Mobile filters, but I did not buy T-mobile Home WiFi internet to need the VPN all the time, so I did not bother trying VPN with Prime Video. Is that something we can possibly fix in firmware? And soon please? Speaking of firmware. There is no place to get a new Firmware update which the High-Speed Internet Gateway critically needs. It lacks too many features. One the most needed features is to allow the High-Speed Internet Gateway to turn in just a modem and turn off all routing features so that users can bring their own independent routers to handle DHCP and other advanced functions. High-Speed Internet Gateway also has a bug where I can not fully disable all of the WiFi Signals. You can stop broadcast and SSID from being announced and reduce the radio power for 2.4ghz and 5ghz from 100% down to 12% but it is still not entirely off. I can still see a 5ghz band displaying a signal and allows me to connect when WiFi is supposed to be disabled. Apparently there is a 5Ghz low and 5Ghz high antenna mode. And the 5ghz high is the one that remains visible and usable. Can not be turned off. I don't want to use the hub for wifi, just want to use hard wired internet. I hope to see these issues addressed in the next firmware update with a resources on where we can obtain the new firmware update file as right now there is no information on that anywhere for the new High-Speed Internet Gateway. At the very least I want to see the simple feature of turning the gateway into a modem all by itself and I can handle all the routing on my end instead and if it comes to it I can do a whole house VPN that way and bypass all the problems. Older gateways had the expert mode from what I could see, please bring that back too if you can. Thank you for reading! And for the help! Mike P.S. I've got an Arcadyan KVD21 5G Gateway from T-Mobile and used the T-Mobile Internet app to configure it. Everything is working, but when I try and launch the app on my phone, it flickers or a millisecond on the gateway home page, then goes to the initial screen (the one with the magenta "T") and I just get a spinning gear icon for as long as i leave it there. I try killing the app, but when it's relaunched, the same thing happens. I deleted the app and then reinstalled it from the App Store, but the problem still persists. The weird thing is that sometimes, like first thing in the morning, it connects with no problem. Go figure! Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, have you solved it? Both the app and the browser are still displaying last month's info under detailed usage data over 10 days into a new billing cycle. Is there a timeline for T-Mobile to fix it? 1. In my "My T-Mobile" profile information tab it says " You do not have any numbers linked to your profile. Click edit to link a T-mobile® number to your profile." It shows my phone number as a primary number, but when I try to link my phone number it doesn't take the code it sends me. Keeps saying the code is invalid. 2. The T-Mobile app doesn't work for me, hasn't in months. It keeps saying "Sorry we're not ready for you yet. We're working on improving your app experience". 3. Live chat is not working for me. I'm logged into my account. I click "contact us" and live chat is not an option. I have to click "support" and scroll down to "contact us". When I click on that I have an option to "Message us". I have a Sonim XP3Plus and it is incessantly asking me if I want to activate T-Mobile Direct Connect. Though I repeatedly select 'no' the alert doesn't go away, and pops up on my flip phone outer screen. How do I stop this annoyance? there is an app on the phone called TCD which i think is the culprit, can it be deleted. I've also tried force it to quit but no avail. Can someone please tell me how to silence this alert once and for all? thanks also, it seems that when I press number keys during calls to respond to prompts ('press 1 for yes') etc, it isn't heard by the other party/automated phone tree system. I can hear the numbers as I enter them, and i can see them appearing on the banner on the screen, but its as if the other end never hears it. its an impossible circumstance given how often one must do this sort of thing. ideas? do i just have a poor connection?2.6KViews0likes4Comentarios
