Distinction between 'data' and 'Whitelisted' for data usage
When viewing the data usage in My T-Mobile, it describes the data usage as 'data' and 'Whitelisted'. Am curious as to the distinction between the two.
Gracias.

Your mobile hotspot is equipped with a whitelist function that will allow you to secure your network's privacy. ... When the primary user deactivates this feature, all other users will be allowed access to network via Wi-Fi and use of correct password. You can limit who can use your hotspot's password or QR code to connect to your hotspot: Normal mode: Allow any device to use them to connect. White list mode: Only allow devices to use them if they're on your list The function should be similar for other models

This is straight mobile phone data, I do not have a hotspot, nor is the phone tethered to a PC via USB.

Okay I found this information that gives a deep list of information about whitelist for hotspots and phones.

I literally cannot stand that my phone even after changing my SIM card 3 times, resetting my network my phone continuously keeps going back to WhitelistAndRegularUsage. I literally cannot remove it. And since I'm a business customer with TMobile I also have no clue how to add or remove or update anything related to add ons in my account this whole thing is frustrating any advice or input is appreciated and needed. I really don't want to have to go back again to TMobile over this. Plus my calls keep dropping literally I can call anyone even 611 and my calls keep randomly ending getting dropped even back to back repeatedly this is happening. What is happening? What's causing this? I'm so frustrated.
