how to leave a good customer service review?
I am hoping to leave a review about some excellent service I received. I thought a survey would begin after the call, but it never came. I live in Japan and will be traveling to CA next week, and I plan to buy a $50 prepaid eSIM mobile plan for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. My iPhone currently uses a physical SIM card because it was purchased in Japan. Since the only way to get the eSIM is to have an internet connection, it seems only logical I should put it on my phone now. But my question is, when should I activate it? I would think that activating it the morning of my trip, before I depart, while I am still in Japan would make sense, because then it would be good to go when I arrive in the US later that day. But I would only want to activate it and not allow it to connect to the internet because if I am in Japan, it probably would switch to "Roaming" right? And I wouldn't want that to eat into my plan. So is it okay to activate the eSIM on my iPhone 15 Pro Max the day of my trip while in Japan? And how should I go about that? Do I switch off Cellular, connect via WIFI, get the eSIM, then activate it? Or does cellular need to be active? If it needs to be active, then wouldn't there be a problem (eating into my plan due to roaming) because I am outside the US? Hello, fellow T-Mobile customers. I am merely writing this with the hope that someone at T-Mobile will read it and FINALLY, after SEVEN months of headaches, fix and properly bill me. In December of 2022 I turned in my iPhone XR in exchange for the iPhone 14 and added a line because T-Mobile was running an $800 off the new phone promo. I handed my phone over to an associate in the store. Well, we are coming up on July 2023 and every month I have to waste my time fighting to have my bill corrected because every month T-Mobile does not apply the promo (bill credits.) Every month whomever helps me promises that they have updated and fixed the error, but the next month it is the same old story. At some point I was told that they never received my trade-in, which is absurd because it was not lost in the mail or something. I handed it over in the store! So, did the associate pocket my trade-in?? I was told they would investigate and follow up with me. I never received a follow-up, and then I was incorrectly billed again. Nobody at T-Mobile will provide a point of contact, someone who I can communicate with so that I do not have to spend an hour+ every month explaining the problem again with someone new. It is terrible service. I have been more than patient. This is ridiculous. I would NEVER ever ever recommend T-Mobile to anyone based on this experience. I feel stuck because if I cancel my service with T-Mobile then they will say that I still owe the balance of the iPhone 14. I am happy to pay the small amount that I might actually owe at this point, but they might say I am working off the full cost of a new phone, vs the $300 that it should be because of the promo. T-Mobile, please fix my account! Please bill me properly! I have someone’s number blocked but they are still able to leave voicemails (harassing me); I accidently deleted the last voicemail they left before getting the calling number and the list I have of blocked numbers is so long it’s impossible to narrow down the number from that. This phone is not shown on the list of compatible devices for the Starlink service. Is that because it is fairly new and has not been added, or because it is in fact not compatible? Residences in the town I live in dont have mail boxes. If you want to get mail, you have to have a P.O. Box. On my monthly bill, it wont let me enter my P.O. Box as my Billing Address. I Live on a Boat and although there is a physical address to the dock, Thats it. Now the real issue. To get a real Id, My bill needs to list the Usage address as well as the Billing Address which are different. My P.O. Box is my billing address and it wont let me enter that in change of address update form. I've been jerking around with this issue for a couple of weeks and its old.
