Samsung Galaxy S22
7 TopicsT-Mobile Error 2 Texting Galaxy S22
My LG V60 Thinq was having trouble sending and/or receiving text messages so I stopped in to the store. Was told my V60 was too old to even get updates anymore so I needed to get a new phone. I chose the Galaxy S22 because it kept me in the same price range I was in. The S22 is now having the same issue - T-Mobile Error 2. I have done every fix I can find including deleting massive amounts of my pictures and music because it said I was out of storage room and that was causing the issue. I now have over 30G available storage and am still unable to get or send texts. Sometimes, I can reboot the phone and a ton of the missing messages come through but then it will not let me send a reply. ALSO, the S22 has no expandable memory so I'm stuck with the 128G and still can't have all my pics/videos/music. I've been to the store (different ones) 3 times now and no one has helped. I live in San Jose, California. Where we have 5G coverage across this region. All my other phones in my household are getting T-Mobile 5G-UC, except for my new S22 5G phone. I have tried resetting the SIM (its a new sim), Reset the APN settings, also added manual APN settings. But, still not getting 5G. Any idea how to solve this problem, since i bought my new phone to make use of 5G coverage from T-mobile.?3.6KViews0likes10ComentariosDoes your Galaxy S22 battery die quickly?
Since the end of July, I am officially now on my 3rd new S22. My battery dies very quickly. I have lowered my display, deleted apps, putapps to sleep, delete text messages and store photos in the cloud. I get outof bed around 7:15 during the week. By mid-morning my battery is nearly half-dead. Any thoughts on why the battery keeps dying so quickly?230Visto0likes4ComentariosNew Galaxy S22 and a couple questions
New customer, new S22. HOW do I reduce the ring time on THIS phone? Using **61*321**00# and substituting a value between 5 and 30 (in increments of 5) doesn't work. Says it's an invalid MMI code. Neither does using 101 in place of 321. Right now the default appears to be 30 seconds, and I need to shorten it. On my previous phone, a Moto G7 Power, when a call came in, I got a display on the screen with "Answer", "Decline" or an option to "Tell me more". The caller would then have to provide more information, and I could then either answer the phone or decline the call. HOW do I get that display on the Galaxy S22? I can't figure out what it's called, so I don't know what thing to get in the Google Store. Thanks for any help you can provide.127Visto0likes3ComentariosConsidering upgrade to S22+ -- reception better than S20 FE 5G?
I haven't been particularly happy with my S20 FE 5G (TMO), and I'm considering upgrading to the S22+ I've had lots of reception problems with the S20 FE 5G. SMS messages have not gone through, or show up in duplicate or triplicate sometimes, or sometimes images don't get sent.I've read that the S22+ has much better signal reception/radios? Curious to hear from those who have upgraded, or who live in areas with marginal reception and have the S22 Since I never have these problems with WhatsApp, I'm assuming that this is a carrier network problem. I'm just outside Chicago city limits, at home I have to use 4G since 5G doesn't work very well, a few blocks from here I get no cellular signal at all, and a few block further up it's 5G all the way. I'm hoping the S22+ will be able to get me 5G everywhere, or at least eliminate the dead-zone. I'd also be interested in general comparisons, speed, features, between the S22+ and the S20 FE 5G. I'm primarily concerned about signal reception however. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's worth upgrading. Comments? Am I overlooking something? Thanks! FWIW: I've had the S3, S6 and S9 with TMO and none of them had problems with connectivity - yes, I know, all pre-5G too.348Visto0likes4ComentariosPower Cord for Galaxy S22
Hello, I just got a new Galaxy S22 phone and discovered none of my Android power cords from an older Galaxy phone will fit the new phone. This seems odd to me. Is it a marketing thing? A revenue thing? Why would Samsung change to size of the power inlet on the phone? To make matters worse, the cord that came with the new phone is useless by itself. There was no block needed to charge the phone in an electrical outlet. There was no USB side on the cable to plug in. There was literally no way to charge the phone with the equipment that came with it. You are required to go out and purchase more cords if you ever want to charge this phone. How can Samsung get away with this? It's like buying a toaster without a way to plug it in. Useless! Frustrating! And it pisses me off. Samsung should be held accountable.142Visto1like3ComentariosGalaxy S22 SIM card
We're upgrading my dad from an old 3Gflip phone. His SIM card is the large format so it won't work in the new phone. The Samsung Galaxy S22 arrived today from T-Mobile and didn't come with a SIM card. Do I need to get a new physical SIM card for it or will the built in eSIM work?428Visto0likes1Comentario
