inflight wifi
7 TopicsT-Mobile InFlight WiFi and Lufthansa...?
Recently flewLH airlines from Munich to Denver. The InFlight WiFi is provided by T-Mobile and Deustche Telecom. A T-Mobile log-in page appears when purchase plan options are selected and it asks for the User's T-Mobile credentials. That information was entered ("User Name" & "Password") but rejected as "Invalid Login Credentials." A conversation today with T-Mobile support in the US was totally unhelpful as the agent was clearly unfamiliar with agreements with airlines other than AA and DL. His suggestion was "Ask the Flight Attenedant for assistance…. " !!. How can one determine what credentials theLufthansa system isasking for to enable WiFi log on ?Solved623Visto0likes5Comentariosinflight wifi doesnt work on AA
It's crazy I'm on the same plane 2 flights in a row the first flight Tmobile access was there. The 2nd flight it was replaced with "watch this ad video for 20 min free wifi" Why does Tmobile allow that? And why do they advertise wifi if it's selectively not going to work? There is no way to know if it's going to work until after take off and it's been happening a lot during the holidays. Sounds like someone is being greedy.208Visto2likes0ComentariosGoGo in-flight wireless
What is the current status of free GoGo in-flight wireless with the regular Magenta plan? The T-Mobile website says the service is free for four full flights per year, plus for one hour on all other flights. However, when connecting to GoGo on Delta last week, there was no option to select whether I wanted to use one of my four full-flight credits or just connect for an hour. Since the flight was only 90 minutes long, I didn't want to waste one of my full-flight credits. The GoGo agent on chat said the limit no longer applies and that all Magenta customers now get unlimited in-flight wifi. I asked him to confirm that that applied to regular Magenta as well as to Magenta Max, and he said it did. He said he also confirmed with his supervisor. The T-Mobile website still says regular Magenta is limited to four full flights and one hour on other flights. Which is it? If the T-Mobile website is correct, how do I choose when I want to apply one of my four full-flight credits or use just one hour of service for the current flight?310Visto2likes1ComentarioT-Mobile & Viasat WiFi Partnership Soon?
Does anyone know if T-Mobile and Viasat inflight Wi-fi are coming up with a partnership anytime soon? A lot of airlines, particularly the world's largest airline...American has been moving away from Gogo and switching to Viasat. The T-Mobile free wifi deal is pretty much worthless now since you can't use it on any Viasat equipped aircraft.Solved2.9KViews1like12Comentarios
