I have data roaming off, no matter if it's off or on I'm constantly getting a pop up for it. I've searched online and apparently this pop up cannot be shut off. Is a fix coming for this? It's very annoying.
Contacted T-Mobile and they worked on a fix in good faith with me, but the solution at the conclusion of that call did not work. Will call them back and let them know. Anybody who has this issue needs to also call 611 an work with them so the complaints will cost them in csr time, then it will be more likely to receive the attention that it needs in order to be fixed. Update to follow the next conversation.
T-Force worked with me overc3 or 4 day span and we tried all the things!. I never had this problem with IPhone. But I now have Zfold 5. When I turn Data Roaming off, then I constantly getv popup telling me Data Roaming is off. Sounds like an Android problem, but alo I wonder has anyone on another carrier had same problem? Think I will hop over to some other carrier communities and see. In the meantime, if #android or #galaxy doesn't fix this, I will go back to iPhone. We are currently in Germany and service is spotty in my location. So even though I am on wifi, everytime , phone tries to connect I get message. Going to try operating on wifi in airplane mode.
Please fix this bug! The message pops continuously on my android Galaxy S10+ with or without Data Roaming enabled and freezes the phone and all apps. Happened while accepting the TOS to file this report. Why is T-Mobile not escalating this ticket? Who is the support owner that is failing your customers. Do the right thing and escalate.
I have the same exact issue with my Samsung S22+. I'm currently in Mexico and this annoying notification pops up whether roaming is on or off. It takes me out of whatever app I'm using. I've been a loyal Samsung customer for years and years, but I'll be traveling a lot these next few years and I cannot stand this notification. I don't want to go to the dark side...Apple 😂...but I may have to. Wish there was a way to just block or turn off the notification.
Same problem here with the Galaxy S21 after crossing the Canadian border in the Pacific Northwest. Very Annoying. If I traveled more, this would be cause to get a different phone.
Same issue with a Samsung galaxy s22. I live in a rural area near the canadian border and the notifications pop up constantly, especially difficult when using the phone for navigation. There should be a way to turn off or block the notifications.

I have data roaming off, no matter if it's off or on I'm constantly getting a pop up for it. I've searched online and apparently this pop up cannot be shut off. Is a fix coming for this? It's very annoying.

It's a Samsung issue! I have even tried complaining about it on the Samsung Members boards. Samsung seems to think it is working as intended.

Contacted T-Mobile and they worked on a fix in good faith with me, but the solution at the conclusion of that call did not work. Will call them back and let them know. Anybody who has this issue needs to also call 611 an work with them so the complaints will cost them in csr time, then it will be more likely to receive the attention that it needs in order to be fixed. T-Force worked with me overc3 or 4 day span and we tried all the things!. I never had this problem with IPhone. But I now have Zfold 5. When I turn Data Roaming off, then I constantly getv popup telling me Data Roaming is off. Sounds like an Android problem, but alo I wonder has anyone on another carrier had same problem? Think I will hop over to some other carrier communities and see. In the meantime, if #android or #galaxy doesn't fix this, I will go back to iPhone. We are currently in Germany and service is spotty in my location. So even though I am on wifi, everytime , phone tries to connect I get message. Going to try operating on wifi in airplane mode.

Please fix this bug! The message pops continuously on my android Galaxy S10+ with or without Data Roaming enabled and freezes the phone and all apps. Happened while accepting the TOS to file this report. Why is T-Mobile not escalating this ticket? Who is the support owner that is failing your customers. Do the right thing and escalate.

I have the same exact issue with my Samsung S22+. I'm currently in Mexico and this annoying notification pops up whether roaming is on or off. It takes me out of whatever app I'm using. I've been a loyal Samsung customer for years and years, but I'll be traveling a lot these next few years and I cannot stand this notification. I don't want to go to the dark side...Apple 😂...but I may have to. Wish there was a way to just block or turn off the notification.

Same issue with a Samsung galaxy s22. I live in a rural area near the canadian border and the notifications pop up constantly, especially difficult when using the phone for navigation. There should be a way to turn off or block the notifications.
