Paid off the lastpymton all my equipmentin acct, so I unlocked my phone via settings. I'm confused with a message that keeps on popping up on my screen on my cell, and my tablet now states that my unlock has expired? Below is the pop up message: Your phone's network unlock will expire in 1 days. SIM cards from other service providers will no longer work. Can anyone help me out please. I thought once paid up you own all equipment, hence unlocked with no expiration ... better off when trading in, etc. Thanks ...Solved852Visto0likes13ComentariosDevice Unlock Problem! Reason Code: 19
Here comes the vent. about a month ago I canceled my T-Mobile account which had me and my ex-girlfriend on it I wanted to switch to Mint mobile my girlfriend stayed with T-Mobile but they made her get a new account since I was the account holder. I was told that once I pay off my phone and my ex girlfriend gets her new account then my phone would be unlocked and I would be able to take it to Mint mobile. I found out after I had already canceled my account and paid off the phone that the phone would not unlock. since I don't have an account anymore it is very hard to get verified with anyone from T-Mobile I've had to be in a T-Mobile store while talking to a T-Mobile representative on the phone so that the person in the T-Mobile store could verify that I was me and so that the person on the phone could submit a unlock request which I have done three different times!!!! this issue has been escalated three different times also. the device is a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and the reason code is 19 when I try to permanently unlock it on the device. T-Mobile has no answers when I'm able to get through to them but that's only if I'm at a store and talking to a rep on the phone at the same time. the device is a replacement device from Assurant which is another route that I explored for a possible problem but was assured that the IMEI should be in T-Mobile's database even though it's a replacement device. I'm running out of options I don't know what else to do I have $1,000 phone that I'm not able to use to make phone calls or use cell towers and it's so frustrating oh and I also just recently received my final bill in the mail from T-Mobile which is a negative! -$47 balance so now I'm wondering since it's not a zero balance and since T-Mobile owes me money could that be the reason that my locked. Does anyone who has read this far have any suggestions or reasons why my phone is locked? I'll be filing an FCC complaint next because they restricting me from using the device that I legally bought from them. I doubt it causes any progress but maybe someone will see it and care enough to tighten the leash on big companies like T-Mobile.Solved5.6KViews2likes9Comentarios- 204Visto0likes2Comentarios
UNLOCKING SAMSUNG S24 ULTRA
I'm really confused? I spent almost $1800 buying this phone in cash at the T-Mobile store instead of an unlocked one at a normal store a few days ago because the rep at your corporate store swore up and down if it was paid off I could unlock it. What a liar. Now I'm screwed because my second sim I use personally (which is currently on my busted up S21 Ultra) isn't with T-Mobile and for some ungodly reason they feel they have the right to lock a phone I paid cash for for 40 days. There is ZERO acceptable reasons you can give me that even justify this besides greed and control and I'm so pissed about it I'm ready to pull my business account from you. (Not that you'd actually care or that Verizon or ATT aren't scumbags). What the hell is the reason for this? This should be illegal.Solved572Visto0likes7ComentariosSince we pay off devices we should be able to unlock the bootloader.
I know that Tmo unlocks our phones from the network when they are paid off, but we should also be able to unlock the bootloader. I just paid off my Galaxy S22 Ultra which has a lot of life left. Even after you pay off the phone, the setting that would normally allow you to unlock the bootloader "OEM Unlock" still doesn't show up. With this said, the firmware/roms for carrier locked phones is done by the carriers and not Samsung directly. So its the choice the carrier to allow us to be able to have full control of our phones. With all of that said, will Tmo change this? Will Tmo go ahead and give a link to a special firmware/rom that will allow the owner to unlock their bootloader? This will make a decision for me if I continue purchasing phones through the carrier.Solved1.1KViews0likes8ComentariosTab S8 + SIM UNLOCK

On January 21, 2024, I called Tmobile to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S8 that I have owned for many, many years. The representativewas having difficulty processing the request even though the Unlock Device app is pre-installed on my phone. After some time on the phone with her and waiting on hold, she finally advised me that with the help of her supervisor, they were able to unlock the phone. I thanked her for her help and hung up. Well, guess what? The phone was not unlocked so I had to call back an hour later and this time I spoke to Brittany. After quite a while on the phone with her trying many different methods, she advised me she is escalating my request and will have a resolution within 72 hours. So, 72 hours later and no contact from Tmobile, I called again and this time spoke to Tony. After a time on the phone with him and him trying many different methods to unlock my phone without success, he advised me he will send a message to Brittany advising I have called again and told me I would get a call within 72 hours with a resolution. I am at 48 hours and am an EXTREMELY unhappy person at this point. I am a 20 year customer of Tmobile and they are not releasing my property (my phone) that I own, to me! Since Tmobile so far has not been of any help, I am reaching out to the Community for any tips on how to get this problem resolved. Any advise is appreciated!Solved99Visto0likes2Comentariosim network locked
