No Admin Access - Big Complaint!
I just joined T-Mobile, (1/9/25), using the 5G internet and we moved two cell phones over as well. With all my previous ISP's I had the ability to "manage" my own intranet. I was able to setup the DHCP pool and be able to assign static IP addresses outside the range of the assigned pool, eliminating addressing conflicts. I had the ability to setup port forwarding, open various ports, setup VLan isolation and so on. I am able to create VLans but am limited on security options that are within my control.
Come on T-Mobile! Fix this! These are basic user options! I know 95% of the general public will never have a need or the knowledge to do a few of these advanced features. Open up the GUI, let us manage our internal intranets, give users the ability to open or deny ports, use port forwarding, allow unrestricted VLan administration and so on.
With this new "white" router, I cannot see or change any network settings on my side of the router. If ANYONE knows how to do this please share your knowledge.
