Re: Great Download Speeds, Horrible Upload speeds
It's because of congestion, they are so far over the threshold of customers that there isn't enough throughput to go around. Plain and simple over selling. Who ever does the backlog in your area is also probably horribly congested. We used to get 20+mbps upload consistently, now we rarely go higher than 3mbps upload, while the whole time the DL is 200-350mbps. When your upload is that low, it only takes one device on the network to completely kill the connection. High download means absolutely NOTHING if there is no throughput to upload, essentially throttling your entire connection because of low upload. Mind you we can look at the tower out our back window and its maybe 100-150yds from the house, rural area, our problem out here isn't congestion on the towers, its the company they pay to take care of the backlog in the area and that company is AT&T, the reason is because AT&T own ALL of the actual cabling that is underground and run on "telephone" poles.36Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Update Failed on Revvl V+ 5G
Hilarious...my revvl 7 is doing the same and 10 times a day it continues to remind me and tries to download and install and it fails every single time. It is now used so much data just trying to download this one file and since we now are forced to update with no option to decline my phone is stuck in an update limbo.33Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: G4SE Internet Unstable as of Tuesday 1.03.19 Firmware Update Problem. Took me almost 3 minutes just to pull up this site that is owned by t-mobile. lmao. So i went to test the connection real quick. My upload is just going to crap, killing the entire connection. #1 6696 ms 1.2 Mbps #2 32961 ms 243.92 kbps #3 6088 ms 1.32 Mbps Here's latency on upload as well #1 959 ms #2 1980 ms #3 1442 ms #4 641 ms #5 6619 ms #6 11058 ms #7 94 ms #8 83 ms #9 69 ms #10 83 ms #11 85 ms #12 93 ms #13 1250 ms #14 79 ms #15 153 ms #16 256 ms #17 161 ms #18 199 ms #19 214 ms #20 251 ms Absolutely absurd. Latency on Download #1 697 ms #2 527 ms #3 83 ms #4 661 ms #5 2356 ms #6 3644 ms #7 32 ms During those ridiculous high pings, is when the connection drops everything and has to reinitiate the connection. Killing any tunnel in the process and causing horrible packet loss or EXTREMELY late packets.20Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: G4SE Internet Unstable as of Tuesday 1.03.19 Firmware Update Problem. Apparently no one at T-mobile has any actual idea on what the hell is going on and why this happened. Today i received a message from T-mobile stating they are now sending the wifi mesh to fix the current issues with the G4SE gateways……..Are you serious? My DSL will be sent out on wednesday and im done with T-mobile. This has just been a joke. How many firmware updates have you screwed up now? 5? 6 times now since it was released THIS YEAR. Do better, hiring competent people again would surely stop all of this crap that is happening for no reason other than people don't know what they are doing.37Visto1like0ComentariosRe: G4SE Internet Unstable as of Tuesday 1.03.19 Firmware Update Problem. I'm now getting the dreaded "Invalid sim card detected" for the past 24 hrs. unplugging and plugging back in fixes it for a bit and then it happens again…. A fix for this would be WONDERFUL! You could have literally had them re-push the previous FW to everyone and you are not even choosing to do that. I have too much work that depends on a vpn connection that no longer is working. I literally have 2 options in the remote area i live in and come Monday the 14th, if this is still going on, im going back to the DSL that is out here. Failed too many times in such a short amount of time that this is still the same janky connection that it was when it first rolled out and we tried it.22Visto0likes0Comentarios- 144Visto0likes0Comentarios

THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE FIRMWARE THAT THEY RELEASED! WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET TMOBILE TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT! There are tons of threads about it.
