outbound caller-id
6 TopicsMy business Caller ID name appearing incorrectly on T-Mobile phones
Hello! My business phone provider - which is handled by Spectrum Voip - displays my business name correctly at all of the other mobile providers, but for some reason it displays the name of a former employee when a T-Mobile number is called. I spoke with Spectrum and they confirmed that they have my business name properly listed on their end and informed me that the issue would then be on the receiving end. I spoke with T-Mobile customer support, and theytold me that since I do not have a T-Mobile number that there is nothing that they can do??? I read through some of the other posts on this topic and it appears that there are 3rd party providers that could also be the cause, any guidance on how I could go about having this corrected with T-Mobile or 3rd parties is greatly appreciated.1.9KViews1like5Comentariosanonymous calls
Tmoble needs to make an app besides scam shield that blocks anonymous calls. Scam shield does not work and it sends the caller to vm to be able to still harras you. They should not be able to get thru period, for unknown calls or ones that block thier number. If you go to the app and silence unknown callers then that blocks everyone on who calls you and thats pointless. You can miss an important call, using that feature. Something needs to be done immediately, because scam shield is garbage. If you have stalkers or people harrasing you and they can still leave VM whats the point. We pay enought for our phone service to have a feature added that does not allow silence callers, unknown callers or block callers to even be able to get through, it should be a busy or disconnected signal. TMOBILE i hope someone sees this and can fix this immediately. WE should not have to pay for an outside company and download garbage on our phones just to be able to have some peace. Some people are in horrible situations and this feature is needed to prevent any futher havoc.52Visto0likes0Comentarios- 68Visto0likes2Comentarios
How to set up caller ID to be blocked automatically for every call
I used to have Sprint Service. Sprint was able to set up my phone (on their end) so that every time I make a call, mycaller id is blocked to the person or company that I am calling. To release my caller id, like when I call a friend, I would just hit *82 and then the phone number. My phone book with all my contacts of friends have *82 in front of their regular numbers. so I can just hit that contact number and, to my friends, my number would be released. I am trying to find out if T-Mobile offers that same system. I have been calling customer service at sprint/t-mobile for over 2 months, I have about 10 different ticket numbers and no one can seem to figure out how this works. I find it hard to believe that if Johnny Depp wants his phone to be blocked, that t-mobile won't block his number. Anyone have any ideas???1.9KViews0likes2ComentariosOutbound callerID blocking my number despite settings
I, too, am having a still unresolved issue with Tmobile blocking my phone number when I place outbound calls. This has been going on for welll over 2 weeks. Many calls to Tech Support haven't resolved it. Ever since I started with T-mobile in 2013, my outbound callerID was to SHOW my phone number but block my name from appearing. Settings on my phone (LG G2) had it set for "network". Now whenever I call someone or business they either do not answer or answer cautiously because ... my call appears on their phone as "anonymous". One agent said he issued a trouble ticket but that was a good 8 days ago. He did mention that about the time I experienced this, there was a "network update". He also submitted "unknown caller" for the name field. Could someone please get this sorted out? Thanks in advance.Solved1.5KViews0likes9Comentarios
