Voicemail problem since Nov 23, 2024
My visual voicemail stopped working 11/23/24, so I called Tmobile and they fixed it, but in doing so deleted all my old voice messages including those from my mother who died in February2024. I know these voicemails are on the Tmobile server, but 4 phone calls and 2 emails to tech experts telling me they cannot retrieve them is not what I want to hear. Any advice? I have a Samsung 23 5G phone and all software up to date. Tmobile struggles with their voicemail in general. I have been with them > 20 years. I did save all my voicemails, but did not back up to another source. Please help...skRhodyHace 5 horasNetwork Novice62Visto0likes1ComentarioAllowed Numbers in Family Allowances Not Working
I just switched my familyfrom Verizon to T-Mobile. One of my phones is an Android for my mother who is a dementia patient in assisted living. To keep her safe from scammers, Verizon had a family app that allowed me to restrict both incoming and outgoing calls and texts to a specific list of numbers that I set up in the app, what used to be called a "White List". If the number is on this list, the call wasallowed to connect, if it's not on the list, it was blocked. T-Mobile told me their Family Allowances service does the same thing, but I have not been able to make it work and, sadly, no one at T-Mobile Tech Support can figure it out either. The Family Allowances Dashboard looks like the functionality is there, but obviously, there are serious flaws in the programing behind itthat is preventing it from functioning as intended. Has anyone out there been able to make Family Allowances work as I have described it? If not, are you aware of third party apps that work?Pappy2ChinsHace 5 horasNetwork Novice151Visto0likes1ComentarioInternet service constantly disconnecting at certain times of day-week
Since we started our service a few months back it seems during during the beginning of the day, 7am 9am, our Internet disconnects from all our streaming devices and on the Tmobile app it somes up disconnected. So,we unplug the router and plug it back in. Poof it works, next day, same thing. My wife and I work from home and have about 12 devices online anytime, we use vpns on our laptops for work, we have tablets and plenty of smart devices. Now,oddly, since we boot up and start work between 7 till 9am Monday Friday, this is the primary time we notice it reoccur the most. There are occurrences during 12pm and 3pm sometimes as well but mostly in the am. My wife has resorted to just hotspotting to her cell phone as a stable workaround. Now the most frustrating part is the consistency of it all. Almost everyday during the week in the am. Each time we've called support it's just reboot it.then if course it works,we are likely moving back to Xfinity since we aren't getting the service promised.FrankdaTankHace 9 horasNetwork Novice19Visto0likes0ComentariosTrade-in Scam
As a new T-Mobile customer, I feel completely blindsided by their trade-in process. I traded in my iPhone 13 Mini for a brand-new iPhone 16 through customer care, all done online and over the phone. I was promised an $830 promotional credit, but instead, they claimed "water damage" on my trade-in and took away the promo, forcing me to pay for the new phone in full. To make matters worse, I didn't even find out until after the 14-day return window had passed. They dragged their feet returning my device, and I didn't get it back until three weeks later-too late to return the iPhone 16. Now, my once-pristine iPhone 13 (they returned it with gouge marks on the charging port, a mystery to the manager at a local store) is basically worthless unless I upgrade to their most expensive 5G Next plan and trade it in "in any condition." That would cost me $53 more a month just to salvage something from this nightmare. I've spent hours on the phone and in chats trying to resolve this. Customer care even promised to manually apply the $830 credit because of my situation, and I have a screenshot to prove it. But they still refused to honor it. Yesterday, I went to a T-Mobile store to get help in person. The manager and a very patient salesperson spent two hours fighting with me through customer care, but T-Mobile wouldn't budge. There's no recourse here. It's your word against theirs, and even with proof, I have no leg to stand on. I was told this offer was only available online, so I couldn't bring my phone into a store to confirm its condition beforehand. If I could've done that, I would've never bought the new phone. This feels like a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. T-Mobile has shown me zero loyalty as a new customer, and I've wasted so much time and energy trying to fix this. If anyone else has experienced something similar, contact me-this might need a class-action lawsuit to hold them accountable. Let's get the conversation going. connected directly to sagecom 5688w firmware SGJi10205-1.2.B4 via wifi i am being provided dns servers fd00:976a::9 fd00:976a::10 that aren't pingable and don't resolve dns queries, why is that? i tried a factory reset it removed the duplicate dns entries for the ipv6 dns servers but as you can see they are coming back again. also network reset of the computer does nothing. same on windows 10 and 11. i prefer not to assign manual dns on every device that connects to my wifi. i assume it is a source of delays when programs try to use those dns servers and eventually time out and use the gateway 192.168.12.1 instead. also i ping google.com so you can see my ipv6 is working.ryan200Hace 11 horasVisitante37Visto0likes2Comentariostrade in phone
The same thing was with me. I was supposed to receive a new phone after my trade in and the excuse was that the phone had water damage. Great way to scam people. I will switch as soon I feel like it.
