Viajes internacionales
Reading on T-Mobile site indicates that our i-phones / mobile phones will work internationally. No set up, no additional fees. Is this true? If not, what is needed to use a phone internationally (one country in Europe) for a week. Thanks in advance.SolvedTime4Me2Fly2 hours agoNetwork Novice20KViews0likes6CommentsProblem with international roaming services in Costa Rica
My wife and I took a trip to Costa Rica prior to leaving we upgraded our plans so that we would have data roaming and international phone calls. When we arrived in Costa Rica our phones would not ever work but we are unconcerned at the time. However we got a flat tire while visiting Playa Carbone which is a very remote place in Costa Rica at the end of a dirt road. So we tried to make a phone call and we are unable to call anywhere we were basically stuck on the coast of Costa Rica as foreigners with no ability to make any phone call. This could have been very dangerous we were both in our 60s we are unable to change a flat tire. Thank God a local person was there who had a tire pump and was able to pump up our tires. When we got back to our hotel we called T-Mobile and my wife was on the phone with T-Mobile for over an hour trying to make our phones work internationally. It never worked we have now been in Costa Rica for 8 days and we are unable to make any phone calls. I am disgusted with t-mobile. The only people we can call is each other or people in the United States that is quite useless and dangerous for older folks who are visiting Costa Rica and depend on their phone. I am beyond disgusted with T-MobileRick652 hours agoVisitor4Views0likes0CommentsSpotify / Pandora Prepaid Customers Using Mobile Data FIX
Ok. I have contacted my legal team (I work in the Legal field). And I asked if we can start a class action suit against TMobile for the dreaded challenge of these apps not working on mobile data being there is perk that if you sign up for a specific plan, you are entitled to music and not use your monthly data. Heck it's why I change from the 30 to 40$ plan... I have since opened 3 tickets. No resolution. I will say the work around is to use (Proton VPN APP is free) a VPN. Once you enable it, bam the music works on mobile data. You can disconnect the VPN and the music app still works. Now I also understand the APN hack to change to IP4 which does work but not 100%. But then your traveling at IP4 on all your apps... So the real challenge actually isn't TMobile but the actual music vendor not supporting IP6. So a class action suit would raise corporate eyebrows but in the end it's the fact of Spotify not on the IP6 level.996Views4likes12CommentsTrouble connecting my Android tablet to my T-Mo home internet
Hello, I just got a new Android tablet and it won't connect to my Nokia home internet Gateway. It says there is an authentication error. All of my other devices connect with no problems - any ideas on what the cause of this is and how to fix it are appreciated! ¡Gracias!TNorth5 hours agoNewbie Caller16Views0likes1CommentAfter 20 years with T-Mobile, Starlink may drive me away
I've had up to 7 lines with T-Mobile and had no plans to look for a different carrier. When T-Mobile announced a deal with Starlink, I suddenly felt a need to look into switching carriers. I cannot feel good about doing business with any company that promotes and pays for services from Musk's companies. The man is awful on so many levels and is now involved in the decimation of our government institutions and services, I wish for all of his businesses to fail so that he can no longer wield the power of his wealth. If there were some assurance that T-Mobile would walk away from Starlink, I'd really prefer to remain a customer.jwbnyc5 hours agoNewbie Caller549Views3likes5CommentsUnlocking a phone when no longer a T-Mobile customer
I was previously a T-Mobile customer and purchased an iPhone directly from Apple in 2020 at full price. The device was sold to me as unlocked. However, for reasons unclear to me, T-Mobile locked the phone - even though it was never financed or purchased through T-Mobile. After leaving T-Mobile, I moved to Mint Mobile, which operates on T-Mobile’s network, so the issue went unnoticed until now. While traveling, I attempted to use an eSIM and discovered the phone is SIM-locked. I have contacted T-Mobile customer support, but they insist the phone was not locked by them and refuse to take any action since I am no longer a customer. Apple and Mint have both confirmed that T-Mobile is the locking carrier. Despite calling repeatedly and being placed on hold numerous times, I have been unable to resolve the issue. I deliberately purchased the phone at full price from Apple to avoid this exact problem. I am extremely frustrated that T-Mobile has locked a phone it never sold and is now refusing to help unlock it. If this matter cannot be addressed promptly, I will be filing a formal complaint with the FCC.beda5 hours agoNetwork Novice120Views0likes5CommentsFamilywhere issues

I'm trying to figure out what coverage is available in Switzerland on One Plan. This -- "Our plans are also international plans. Tu teléfono simplemente funciona cuando llegas; no hace falta completar ninguna configuración. (Con planes elegibles. Se requiere dispositivo compatible. No disponible para uso internacional extendido. La cobertura no está disponible en algunas áreas. See full terms)." -- has a big asterisk that is unintelligible.wollern7 hours agoVisitor22Views0likes1CommentRCS chats disabled by carrier
What the heck?!? My chats were working just fine until a couple of weeks ago. I don't get it. My S23 is up to date. I've cleared the messages cache, turned RCS off and on, turned airplane mode on and off. Am I missing something or what? Because I'm getting madMickey1310 hours agoNewbie Caller632Views1like5Comments
