New 5G Gateway has 2 bars
Where is the chat support for this? Anyway new gateway was a sure thing to beat up on my DSL service. Not any better. Only 2 out of 5 bars. The streaming is improved but the gaming is worse. So the data stream is wide but slow. Figure I sould wait on the phone forever to see if they can connect us to the nearby tower? Right now I am assuming the nearest 5G tower is not owned by T-mobile?

I've had my 5G Gateway about 2 weeks now and I only get 2 bars on it as well. My house is stuck smack dab in the middle between 2 towers that are both about 1 ½ to 2 miles away. However, it doesn't seem to effect speeds at all. My son and I are often on 2 separate Xbox's playing 2 different games at the same time with at least 3 other devices in the house streaming something to them and none of us seem to have any issues whatsoever aside from the typical tower disconnect that happens semi-frequently on all cell devices. I see speeds as high as 320 Mps down and as high as 30 Mps up. Its been way better than the wired internet we had so far so yeah, I agree with you that it must be a tower problem.

Following. I have had significant "no internet connection" pop ups the past week. When I check network status it will say connected to the internet but am unable to access any streaming services and the other half of the time I just have no internet. I do not game and do not believe anything has changed regarding connection, account, etc. There really is no accounting for the issues… In the same boat working from home half the time, it will be impossible to stay with T-Mobile if these problems persist. Open to any tips or tricks to getting it back online without turning the hub off an on 100 times a day.

Just got off the phone with a very annoying and frustrating call with Tmobile Internet. All of his "fixes" were directed at something inside my house. In the wrong room, hardware not connected properly, modem not in a window, modem not high enough, not plugged into the wall, etc. etc. They are flat out not admitting there are problems with 5G network. They know the problem is with the towers. I have to get rid of them ASAP…...

I haven't gone through the numbers this week but it seems more stable but still no better than DSL. Was hoping this week with the mid band upgrade across the nation that there would be a significant difference. I will hold onto the tower for a few more weeks before giving up on it. :(

I live in Washington DC area and the Tmobile map reports outage problems. I keep getting 2 bars. All attempts at troubleshooting and "cooling" have failed. This morning my phone says it cannot connect to the Internet. What the hell??? I cannot run my business on 2 bars!! Extensive buffering on some streaming channels and gaming is slow. All I get is idiot responses from Tmobile and sometimes outright denials. I have to switch carriers if this persists during this week. I wil not pay for lack of service!!

Horrible! Getting ready to go with another company before my husband kills me!! We are about 2 miles from "the tower" service is constantly interrupted. I've tried everything including splitting the service. I can't use the phone on Wi-Fi without constant cutting out. I think it's really not worth it. It seems to be extra bad on the weekends
