Not receiving authentication/verification code from SSA Benefits website.
Hi all! Over the past weeks I have not been receiving various codes that a website will send in order to authenticate your login. Specifically the SSA Benefits website. Has anyone else has this issue, what did you do to resolve it? I am trying to avoid having to get a code mailed which takes days. Is this a TMobile issue?
Not receiving verification texts from few banks after switching to T-Mobile
I just switched to T-Mobile from AT&T few weeks ago. And, now I am not getting the account verification code from AMEX bank to my phone number. The code comes from the number 48267. 48267 was working fine just a few weeks ago when I was with AT&T. However, 48267 is not working now. (Few other bank account verification codes are working OK. The problem seems to be with this number 48267 for now.) Sent "Help" to 48267 many times without getting a reply. I see similar issues with T-Mobile customers in different forums. Could someone please help me to solve this issue?

I allowed my friend todeposit his settlement check He signed…I didnt (by mistake) The bank suspected fraud so they restricted my bank account---then closed.The bank has a risk assessment software. They neede3d to verify the number of the person whose check was deposit. I have tried phone in my nae..so I was told he needs to get his phone in his name. He did! he enteredd his last 4 of his social, they asked for ID and proof of address, He got an A15 Samsung. The bank did not see his name..there is someone else name..when T mobile said its in his name. The Bank software dosnt see his name. They said it was not publicly verified. T mobile said we had to wait 30 DAYS.Did that. This person just lost everything in a fire...so its an emergency. Any h3elp would be appreciated
Do not get verification text codes via SMS
I have the Pre Paid T-Mobil plan, I cannot get any verification codes via Text, went to the T-Mobil store they could not help me, I cannot get texts for verifications be it from my bank or any other important places for verification, this is very frustrating because myMy husband has the same plan, same phone, he receives them. What can I do, anything on my phone (Android) or is it on T-Mobils end of it, Thank for your help
DIGITS doesn't support short codes for verification texts?
If this is true then this is absolutely preposterous and needs to be fixed ASAP. When I signed up for a DIGITS number, I was told that it could be used exactly the same way 100% as my primary number on my phone. If short code verification text messages cannot be received on my DIGITS number, then I was entirely lied to.
Mobile WiFi and Text Verification
Hi, I noticed that mobile hotspots don't receive texts for verification, as such it becomes impossible to set up a T-Mobile ID and verify it. This results in late fees and difficulties paying the initial bill or setting up automatic payments. Any chance you'd like to refund the late fees and rescind any negative credit reports? This is due to a lack of foresight from your website techs, not any kind of dishonesty or infidelity on the part of the customers.
Not receiving all short messages SMS verification codes from Europe only some
November 2022 this worked fineand for years I used it. Now I may get one code in a day or two and no more. I talked to support and opened a case ticket. I tried twitter as well and they said its not supposed to work based on CTIA standards. This is strange since it worked fine for years and started to have issues this year. Certain verification codes from businesses come through to me but others aren't. For instance, I get my verification code from my bank but the one through the VA always fails. It isn't just the VA, there are other institutions that are blocked somehow too. Anyone have any idea about this? Is it something I've set in my phone?Short Code Verification Texts
I learned today that T Mobile only allows one phone on an account to receive short code verification texts. My wife and I are on a family plan with my son. All of us work so this is quite inconvenient. Do other carriers limit access to short code verification texts? We would like to switch to another carrier. Otherwise, we will each have to get our own plan and our expense will increase. ¡Gracias!
