Re: TMobile used to be great
If TM (or ATT or Vz) were the best for everyone they would have close to 100% of the business. I agree that in recent times the price diff. has narrowed quite a bit, especially if you only have 1 or 2 lines. We have had Netflix since it was offered. We only make moderate use of it. We wouldn't make any use of the new Disney+ channel. There is now an over abundance of streaming TV to watch w. Prime et al. For us the free intl. roaming has been worth $$ over the years. Since we are only (95%+) in major U.S. areas rarely have coverage problems. For you sounds like TM doesn't cover your area well enuf for you. Where are you located? I'm surprised wifi isn't working for you. I thought the Netflix promo was still offered.18Visto1like0ComentariosRe: TMobile used to be great
I've been w.TM since before they were TM. They were first w. wifi calling. First w. free intl. roaming years ago. (Don't think ATT or Vz. has that yet.) First w.o. locked in contracts. True their rates now aren't the bargain they used to was. Those of us who are on old plans really have bargains. We have 8 lines that total under $200/mo. 6 of the lines don't cost more than $10 because they get $10 kickback for not using more than 2G of data. That plan went 2 or 3 years ago.16Visto1like0ComentariosWould like to hear comments from people who have used either the international "Global Pass" or "Data Pass"
These are similar products, but seem to have slight differences. Here is what I got, from CS: === From TM CS: === Hi Mike, Thank you for reaching out to T-Mobile Care. Global seems offer international calling from the US. We use Google voice for that. Both offer, it appears, international calling for free when overseas. === === Would like to receive comments from people who will actually use one of these services.2.5KViews0likes6ComentariosRe: Overseas Travel: How can I avoid incoming call costs but still use free text/data roaming while abroad?
I have never used the "do not disturb" option on the phone. When we go overseas we simply set "forward all calls" to VM number. (805-637-7243). He has worked for years when traveling to over a dozen countries. For outgoing calls, you can make free calls back to the US women on Wi-Fi. Incoming calls, of course, are free women on Wi-Fi. I think many users make use of apps the route calls over data-but I have never done that. Text and data are free if you're on a regular TM plan.16Visto0likes0Comentarios
