T-mobile Virtual Mastercard to ACH?

Hi - I am a former ATT customer that changed over to T-mobile. I am due to receive close to 2900.00 for 4 phone reimbursements that I paid off to ATT. I just noticed the fine details around the virtual Mastercard and am pretty upset for couple of reasons.

1. There is an expiration period! Not even few years but 6 months! How is it that I am being reimbursed for devices that I paid for out of my own pocket all at once has an expiration of 6 months!
2. Is there a way to convert the virtual mastercard to cash via ACH (or any other methods)? Please do share - I would greatly appreciate it. 

I am looking into contacting the attorney general's office for this as this is pretty bad. Again, I paid for the devices to ATT with the promise I would get reimbursed. Having the reimbursed amount be expired within 6 months is pretty shady business tactic. Did anyone with similar scenario have any success stories?
