Hey! Going on a cruise to Cozumel - How can I use my phone on the cruise ship and NOT be charged for Data services & fees? I only want to use phone for pictures and Cruise App for activities. Por favor, ...
That's the thing with cruise ships. Everything needs some sort of internet connection. Cruise ship WiFi is not free! If you really want internet while inboard. Make sure your device is in Airplane mode and then you turn on WiFi. Purchase a WiFi package before taking your trip from the cruise ship amenities list or from the travel agent that booked your trip for you.
Thanks Syaoran - but what of I turn on Airplane mode and only use that? Trying to use their App for activities.
